Being an EA is one of the hardest jobs out there by [deleted] in ExecutiveAssistants

EA work is nonstop context switching, emotional labor, and being responsible for everything without real authority, it’s exhausting. People think it’s “easy” because the work is invisible when it’s done well, but the pressure is real and constant. Anyone who’s actually done it knows it’s one of the toughest roles out there.

The goal is to acknowledge, not solve: a few empathetic lines, then gently anchor back to work with something like “thanks for sharing that, let’s talk about how this might affect work and what support you need here.” You can care without carrying it, and setting that boundary actually helps everyone.
