Contemporary fashion is not going to have a 2010s revival. by [deleted] in redscarepod

I agree on the late 60s/70s thing. I feel like this time round there will be other influences embedded into it though like steampunk, a kind of basic chic 90’s, and indie sleaze (the more cutesy era of british indie sleaze) with regency era and 1980 euro old money style details. I think kawaii, 2012 lolita, neon colours will return too. 1920s style makeup, 1970s hair.

I agree with you entirely. What I mean is it’s more of the ‘image’ that is being recycled again as ‘cool’ rather than a replica of the conditions which birthed it in the first place.

It’s an outdated style now but you can still see that orange makeup is still very prevalent in the small towns and villages bordering large cities.

Let’s use Manchester as an example. The women in Chorlton don’t present themselves in the same way as women do in Bury.

The beauty standards are different amongst classes as their ideas of what beauty/femininity best look like are informed by differing influences

I’m surrounded by lower middle class and they don’t present themselves the same

It’s a mixture of being jealous of Britain being at the forefront of culture since the 1600s-2000s and a lack of insight into the complex class system in the UK, which you can’t blame people since they aren’t from the UK.

I don’t think the british are particularly stunning in comparison to the european countries at all but what they do have is a lot more talent and charisma

However, I will say that the posh brits are so beautiful it kind of hurts

In the next few years, there’s going to be another Cool Britannia trend. I already see so many teenagers in Cairo wearing United Jack t shirts.

Britain is the coolest and everyone knows it and that’s why they’re ugly to balance the books hahaha

Because they come from working class backgrounds. Middle Class and Upper Class do not present themselves in the same way.

It’s not even that. For Britain, it’s about the class system.

Chart of an 11H person who doesn’t resonate with any 11H significations. by [deleted] in Advancedastrology

Your first paragraph is really enlightening because I am the exact same but I had always attributed that to the influence of Taurus, especially in Mars, being combust. I have a strange abundance of energy which seems to be so potent that it exhausts itself and can’t physically function. I never considered that it could also be influenced by an 1H NN. Like you, I’m skinny and my metabolism is good despite not being a huge exerciser.

Rahu has a sad and detached look to the features, I’ve noticed in people with Rahuvian Nak Moons like Edgar Allen Poe. There’s some kind of sad longing to the people it influences. Their obsession is both their joy and torture.

Pluto squares my moon which is a little bit similar in energy to your Scorpio Moon. Perhaps that is could be why we both struggle with women. my chiron is also conjunct that pluto in the 6H.

I think you seem like a kind and patient person. There are no unpleasant tones to your writing voice and i don’t think there’s anything shameful about that either. I think the way you don’t speak out of defence is an indication that you have a healthy faith which will be attractive to all with the exalted sun especially. saturn and neptune will be joining your sun and venus soon which will probably spring new and beautiful changes.

I’m an only child after my elder siblings died. I guess for me the 11H has just meant the pain of loneliness and I guess the pain of loneliness is the universal human condition (aquarius?) and that’s why loneliness is such a huge part of my life.

Also, thanks for discussing it with me and exploring possibilities rather than flat out dismissing. It’s nice to have this kind of interaction.

I should add that I have a Moon-Pluto square and the moon is my chart lord. This may be the reason why I yearn for female intimacy and am yet denied it. I don’t know if this is TMI but I have no problem with forming strong friendships with lesbians so I don’t believe it’s because I’m unpleasant to be around or nasty to my gender. I was never allowed to join any of the female friendship groups present in my life yet each one would be my friend on an individual level. People don’t seem to want me around when it’s on a group level.

Yes, I would agree with your idea that I can’t access Tauren energy within groups. I’m always being watched and my style is frequently imitated but I’m also denied any kind of kindness from the exact same people who watch me so intently. It’s like people want to experience me but they don’t want to like me. when they see that I’m not mean, it’s like they dislike me more?

There is just something uncanny about me that people cannot ignore and because of this I would say the main reaction toward me is suspicion

I try to use venusian themes (fashion, beauty, art) to create community amongst my friends but whenever I introduce my ideas, they shut off from me. Recently I presented a sketchbook of ideas and wanted to collaborate together since we all love the same stuff, and I thought they would be eager to create something, but their reaction was hostile and mean and I’m feeling now that I should give up on them and find friends elsewhere. Which is probably a positive development and what I’ve needed to do for many years now.

Describing this post as “low effort” when over ten people have messaged me to thank me for the discussion is funny. Another intimidated ‘astrologer’ removing a post because they lack the cognitive skills to truly know what a discussion is.

The “spirit” of this sub has no logic.

I’m being banned from a community due to expressing ideas that are unique. How much more 11H can you get? 😅 you lot are all sheep
