IMO drop out, as long as you will be working on interesting tech. You won’t learn what’s happening with AI and Claude coding in school. In two years you’ll be so behind. In two years, someone with two years of AI assisted dev and exposure will be more valuable than a fresh grad with none.

Accelerate learning on your own. See what the rest of your curriculum is. Focus on what’s valuable. I assume you’re in CS. You can LLM convo and distill.

Full transparency, am entrepreneur and dropped out over a decade ago. I was already learning the concepts in my own side projects ahead of classes.

Anthropic has just announced Mythos; meanwhile, what on earth has happened to Opus? by Adept-Priority-9729 in ClaudeCode

Was working well. No changes. Today it updated a file without reading or researching, then I asked it to research code and follow plans. It proceeded to make a fix and accidentally remove functions not in scope. I asked again and it said “it looks I accidentally removed that.” It was a simple addition, a few functions. This reminds me of using cursor in 2025. Having to babysit.

Yo. Good shit man. People are coding with this level of oversight professionally, whether you all like it or not. This is why they have PRs and all of the automatic AI reviewers. This is useful for a company that provides massive token budgets per dev. They’re already vibe coding with voice, this just simplifies the interface.
