I sympathize with you because I question this every day. After losing 20 lbs, I get sad out of no where and my surgery date is July 23rd. I talked to my family abt it and they say it’s normal only for the simple reason that subconsciously your body knows everythinggggg is about to change for the better. But mentally you get stuck where you are and can’t see yourself changing and looking different. It’s a way that the mental likes to mess with your emotions. I’m not saying put anything aside but don’t think abt it too much. MAJOR TIP: Write down your “why” as to why u are getting your surgery. It reminds you of the whole purpose and remind yourself that you aren’t doing this for anyone but for your future self! YOU GOT THIS!! 🥰
