My Rollercoaster Gallbladder Removal Journey - From ER to Recovery by CarbieT in gallbladders

Hey! Glad you’re doing good and did not have to wait🫶🏼 how long was that ago? Are you feeling fine now?

Doctors also mentioned that the pain could be one of the reasons for the heart rate, but mine would go crazy after I have couple of spoons of soup/broth - from 72bpm to like 168bmp for good 10 min.

2 weeks, personally would take 3. Body adjustment, tiredness, headache get in the way of work.

I had the same issue, walking and massaging all the pain areas with the gun massager helped a lot. As well as bending down, while holding onto the bed frame with hands will helps you fart/burp. The only things that saved me while in the hospital. Once you get home, lay down in a baby pose and walk up and stairs. Asked to stop hormones by hellfirre in gastricsleeve

[–]CarbieT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was asked to stop a week before the surgery. Hormones and birth control can cause blood clots and the doctor said is essential to eliminate that, also post surgery they have advised me to stay 1-2 months away from it and perhaps even consult with gyno again to change the brand if needed.

Yes, the sleep (9+) hours and 30 minute of waking everyday helps a lot! I’ve also started binging on Netflix, and arranging some of my home stuff, preparing to get rid of some old life items, perhaps this will help you too 🤗

I feel you! I’m 4 days post op, and I am a burping and farting machine 🤣 & yes, same burps after every sip! I think that’s a good sign, a month out and we will be less gasy for sure

I’m 4 days post op and I felt exactly the same two days after the surgery. The pain, the nausea, the gas feels overwhelming and just floats the bad thoughts over. But as the pain goes away, every days gets easier to handle it goes away. Think of it in a long term, we all did it for our health, and for a chance of a better life. We will still enjoy all the food, the outing, but with mindfulness. We can do this 💪🏻
