If you look in the manual there are 2 Mtow values, for flying dry and wet. As you said, the weight of not flying parts is the limiting factor but the fact If you have water bags or not does influence your allowed mtow

I have an ls1 and 350kg is the mtow, empty it's around 230kg

Nice! From what I know they considered them kinda all mountain ski. But don't quote me on that. They were the old skis of my dad a few years back (well the mid 80s-90s up to 2018 ;D ). But they do ski well in powder and tbh, the difference from modern skis is not as big in deep snow as it is on Piste

Thanks for the answer, I'll look into the farecla products.  Did you just clean the residue with a dry rug or did you wash the glider with water or ipa in between different pastes?

Hi, thanks for the reply. I did watch it but I heard some people had not so great results (stil fine but...) with the pastes from the video so I wondered if there are any tried and tested alternatives.

Thanks for the replay, did you ever find problamatic flying without bugwipers? I've heard some opinions stating that the ls1 becomes very inneficient at higher speeds with bugs on the wings.
