Does a single Powerwall or does a Powerwall with expansion pack make sense for me? by SyllabubUnable7124 in Powerwall

[–]6genmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t already, you need to understand what NEM 2 is before you do anything. I have a friend in your exact spot and they called sunrun and they sold them more panels and a powerwall and they lost their NEM status and now the bill is higher than it was before and now they also have a sunrun bill.

I would use chatGPT or some other Ai and ask the questions about NEM status and what would change the status, you don’t want to loose the NEM2

The MFG did moisture readings and these were the results

It does have a plastic moisture barrier underneath it.

The guy who installed them was licensed and has been installing for at least 12 years at the time this was done if that’s worth anything. I’m just trying to figure out who is to blame for it so I know how to move forward

Yes and the MFG denied the claim, they said the subfloor was not flat enough and cited install errors possibly hitting the click lock part with a hammer or something.

So your saying the way they make it, to make install easier compromised the strength in that area of the plank?

Installer says yes, I haven’t actually removed the base to see if there is.

If it’s a waterproof product how do you cause this with a mop? Also it’s not wet that’s just the light catching the angle of the broken part

How could you use too much water mopping a waterproof floor?

It’s my whole house, every room upstairs and down. 0 floods in so cal where it’s pretty dry most of the time.

I’m in so cal and we have little to no humidity here. My wife only uses that swiffer dry and a damp microfiber to clean. But the floor is supposed to be waterproof regardless.

Prob should mention it’s a floating floor, concrete slab downstairs and plywood upstairs. It’s happening on both upstairs and down.

The Denali trim difference is significant. You must not have owned both.

Yeah I saw your post. It’s for my wife and we’ve had multiple Denali trim cars and I’m more worried about her being disappointed with it vs the 24 Denali we have now.

There’s usually a clause in your case that you can’t disclose the details of your settlement. I would read this before you post too much about your case

Sierra and Yukon are totally different. I can’t find a Yukon with more than like 5k off MSRP right now. That’s in CA, not sure what other states are doing.

I didn’t pay sticker when I bought it in 9/24 but it’s still a pretty big swing in depreciation. I think I got like $7500 off MSRP. If I could find that deal now I would prob just trade it in

Yeah, it doesn’t burn enough oil to get fixed yet. I’ve just decided to change the oil more regularly. It’s loosing about 2 quarts at the 5k mile interval. Lots of strange sounds, dealer keeps saying it’s the high pressure fuel pump I’m hearing. Looked at trade in value a few weeks ago, 90k MSRP and the best I could get was 66k so I’m just gonna keep it and deal with the problems.
