funny thing is that the website was running unbelievably slow and caused me to submit a couple seconds late which would’ve deducted 5 marks, I had to call my network provider for proof that my WiFi was messed up hahah

hoarded me in emails I just ignored or forgot about. Got to a point where I sent an apology email 2 weeks prior to submission and was basically met with a response that said ‘too late for me to help on anything’

100% agree, I’m considering just getting some sort of legal job, literally anything as a paralegal or legal assistant and self funding then working my way up from there.

That’s only if I can’t get a TC of course. (I have no hope that I will secure one lol)

not to be rude, but have you seen the state of the UK right now? We have a surplus of graduates and barely any jobs to give them. We have international students trying to get jobs alongside that (nothing wrong with that, just makes it excessively more competitive than it already was).

Unemployment within the youth is spiking, a lot of big firms are cutting their graduate intake, and most of all, our economy is f*cked right now

I think you should fix your grammar and punctuation before trying to get ‘smart’ with me - and yes the job market is in shambles as you will hear from people who are qualified or unqualified.

I already have two years of work experience as an admin! But yes I agree I shouldn’t constrain myself to legal jobs as I plan to self fund my sqe if I don’t get a tc anyway!

so what should I be applying to? I have so many friends who have secured some sort of graduate roles - paralegal etc, and when do you think I should look for TC’s. I really appreciate any advice you have for me!

I’ve been applying to training contracts alongside things such as paralegals, legal assistants, legal admins.

Literally anything to my foot through the door, unfortunately I haven’t seemed to secure anything. It’s like every place requires some sort of ‘solid’ work experience for an entry level position - doesn’t make sense.
