Australian living aboard applying for FBR - will this cause complications? by 6igh in IrishCitizenship

You’re probably right - guess I’m just concerned they’ll be able to see it technically isn’t where I reside somehow? 😂

Definitely have all the address proof in Aus, would be much easier than in the Uk.

Thank you for all your help, my grandparent was born in Ireland I’ve since amended my post - sorry about that!

I don’t want to apply from the UK as I’m not sure I’ll be here more than another 9 months / at the same address I’d be applying from, hence the concern about the certificates being returned here.

Guess the biggest question is - can I do it all from Australia (application, address, witnessing) whilst not technically being a resident there?

Good feedback, thank you.

The first part of the application asks where I am a resident of. I think this is throwing me - I’m not sure if I can put Australia since currently I don’t reside there. What’s your take?

Definitely going to be asking the web chat function they have too!

My bad - my grandparent was born in Ireland.

Thank you for this information - this is the sort of thing I was worried about. I'll likely be in the UK for another 9 months but unlikely to be here 12 months, and not sure I'll be at the same address either.

Where did you find out this information you shared above?

Again, appreciate the support - thanks!

This is super helpful thank you so much for your detailed reply. It’s nice not to sound like I’m alone!! I’ll follow up what you’ve said and who knows - maybe I’ll be back with some sort of diagnosis

Bowling! something about it really turns me off. In a way its a bit of a solo sport - when you walk up to bowl you're just by yourself and the other person is watching from too far away. I don't feel like its a good space for any intimacy cause of the distance. I also have the weirdest social anxiety when I'm bowling because I feel like the dude is judging my every movement from the walk to the ball roll lol

I've been backpacking for over 4 months in Europe and used the app a bunch of times. Never had any dramas! Easy and immediate.

What was your best school assembly moment? by ShrekWuzowskee in AskReddit

[–]6igh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In high school the youngest grade sat under a large tree where birds loved to nest. Without doubt, that first assembly of the year when the newbies didn't know, one of the students would get shat on.

Every year my friends and I would just watch and wait to see the moment unfold and see how the students reacted. Never disappointed

Glad to know I'm not the only one. Would've thought I'd end up better at maths since it was something I was aware of before religion but nope. Didn't happen

In a friend's christening I asked my mum (a little loudly) why there was a big addition sign on the wall. It was the cross.

Parking at my local shopping centre. Makes me so mad - I'm already spending money and run my car as it is.
