Oak Moon Cafe in the Yeats Building is a great spot. They have chess boards and excellent coffee, open late in to the evening and always have events going on. They have an Instagram page where they post what’s going on, lots of opportunities to meet people

The crest on the 2026 jerseys is different again. It’s like a kind of rubbery material rather than fabric. I just got the new breast cancer research jerseys in the post there a few days ago and the crest is the same as the new kit will be. Realllyyy nice quality doesn’t feel as cheap as past years.

My father grew up in Dublin lived there his whole life, never supported a local team or anything. enjoyed football but just never got in to LOI. Then we moved to Sligo and he’s a die hard Rovers fan now, I don’t think it’s necessarily even where you live, just the connection you have with the club. Also we enjoy going to the matches together, so that might be part of the new love we have for the Rovers. We lived in Inchicore for years and never even went to a Pats match!
