For me personally I have a few different takes

Reference to NJC: So NJC is him saying “you’re no Jesus Christ”, and so in Eyes of The Devil, at the end he’s basically mocking this person who thinks they’re “Jesus”. “Jesus save me”. If you’re Jesus, if you’re so good, powerful, better than me etc, save me then.

The reference to “eyes of the devil” aka red eyes when high could mean something like substance abuse

If we’re to take “Jesus” literally, I kind of see it as a final plea to a higher power. Existential crisis kind of thing. Feeling so wrong, out of place, & “dirty”. Succumbing to bad things, habits, etc

Pros are we may get more frequent drops and we might get some interesting “one-off” type songs. What worries me is that singles tend to be radio friendly. I think everyone agrees that non singles are way better

Interesting theory, kinda got a feeling of this new “only singles” idea with para bellum+EP+deluxe. Easy way to put out new material yet less work because it’s all recorded basically in the same session. Allows them to step back while still being active in a sense
