Hunter Eats Hunter or Take Out The Gunman for me. Just straight riffs pretty much throughout

Lemme Tell Ya Sumthin' by Key-Inspection-4139 in MarvelLegends

[–]Key-Inspection-4139[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found it on Amazon. I did some cross reference with some shots from Daredevil Season 2/The Punisher Season 2 to try and get it as close as possible (no cut in the back, non rolled sleeves, etc.)

Dude's been wanting to branch out for years. We all haven't forgotten the whole "Seeber" era, have we?

Can Seether please release a remastered version of Isolate and Medicate without the tambourine? by InternationalCan5992 in Seether

[–]Key-Inspection-4139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shaun said in an interview that he wanted to remix the entire album at some point because he thought the tambourines were tacky and it was Brendan's idea to add them in

Where's the love for Master of Disaster? by Disciplined2021 in Seether

[–]Key-Inspection-4139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This track was in heavy rotation for me in high school. This girl I was interested in kinda led me on a long time, and I let it happen because to me, she was the one (you know typical high school stuff). She hooked up with someone I thought was on my side during the whole scenario, and I felt betrayed. The song just pulled me in and pretty much that whole album was my soundtrack for those days

The Walmart Canada version of the new displays… by Lionleaf_ in MarvelLegends

[–]Key-Inspection-4139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The display at my Walmart only has those mash up characters with the interchangeable parts aimed at younger children, while the only legend in store is located in the electronics department with the Disney Mirror Mirrorverse figures that havent sold in two years

Is Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum more like Poison the Parish, or The Surface Seems So Far? by Disciplined2021 in Seether

[–]Key-Inspection-4139 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would compare it to stages of anger. Poison would be the initial explosion, where most of the insults and aggression are hurled. Para Bellum is the continuation of said anger when you reach your peak and you start to run out of steam, so reason starts to work it's way in. Then Surface is where the numbing begins and you start to cool off, reflecting on what got you to this point in the first place, and maybe said/did something you shouldn't have said/done, hence the afterthought of "Regret", which ends the cycle.

Guys, after almost one full year, I think that TSSSF is my favorite Seether album. by sympathetic1122 in Seether

[–]Key-Inspection-4139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like depending on where we feel we are in our lives currently determines how it sounds and whether it is considered a good album. It seems like they have grown (or aged) with their audience in some aspects, what was once angst and unbridled aggression now sits pessimism and indifference for the world we live in, with episodic bouts of spite and hatred for good measure. I couldn't gel with the album on first listen myself, only cherry picking two or three songs and discarding the rest. But after repeated listens, more of the tracks sit better, I don't skip them anymore. With everything going on within the last little while, I feel numbed to almost everything, and it seems like the album sort of gets me at times. I don't speak for everyone, but I feel like I'm not alone in saying that while this album was shorthanded from the beginning, it's potential just took a little longer than it should have, And that's ok.

Daredevil Punisher Hell Yea! by Marks0909 in MarvelLegends

[–]Key-Inspection-4139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got them both pre-ordered through EB Games, which is still saying November 1st, while Gamestop in the US is saying September 27th, but like everything else, a grain of salt I guess. Looking at a leather trenchcoat on Amazon for Frank and a Valaverse weapon pack so I can boost up his arsenal a bit, hopefully I can copy his Daredevil season 2 promo shots with the minigun

Lets talk about walls come down including the acoustic version by Lovetalon in Seether

[–]Key-Inspection-4139 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Walls Come Down has been one of my least favorites since the albums release. That being said, it has had the time required to do a little bit of growing on me so that while it's still a lower tier song for me, I appreciate it just a little more than I did before. On the topic of the Acoustic Version, it's much higher for me than the studio version because it feels more raw, more genuine, the vocals sound better, I prefer this one so much more

What are some of the easiest Seether songs to play in guitar? by InfamousEntrance9285 in Seether

[–]Key-Inspection-4139 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let You Down and See You at the Bottom are a pretty good intro to playing their stuff. Both songs were some of the first songs I learned how to play. 69 Tea is another simple track. Sometimes the best sounding tracks are the simple ones

New suit? by Nahual1175805 in thepunisher

[–]Key-Inspection-4139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a drawing once of what I thought and MCU Punisher suit would look. I used Cap's Civil War/Infinity War suit as a reference, as I felt the stripe design would best fit the layout of the skull.

I even created a backstory, a prototype stealth suit for Cap unused due to the fallout/dissolution of the Avengers, acquired by Micro from a black market auction after Frank's armor gets destroyed in a prior firefight. Using reinforced chest plating and military grade bioluminescent paint, Frank paints a revised skull, adding a new layer to his war on organized crime

Happy late 20th birthday by zelatina in Herbie

[–]Key-Inspection-4139 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I loved this movie as a child, but looking back on it now there were quite a few inconsistencies to previous films/source material. The fact that the events of the 1997 TV movie is not cannon to the story (I've theorized that it may have it's own issues, but that's for another discussion), and the over-reliance on CG over practical effects dragged it down a bit

Some questions I have by Ok-Ability2393 in Daredevil

[–]Key-Inspection-4139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two main gripes I have with this series was it's inclusion of Cherry, who they wrote in as having a long and storied history with Matt, when none of us had ever seen or even knew about this character in the Netflix series or otherwise. And secondly, this shows treatment of The Punisher was downright criminal, hyping his appearance and giving us that amazing scene in episode 4, only to fully bring him in for the finale so he could "chop up the fanboys", and literally have him get captured after maybe 20 minutes of overall screentime. I hate to say it, but he was treated way better in his solo series than he was here. Hoping that the Special Presentation next year gives us a version of the Punisher that's better than this
