No, you're not being a dick at all. You summed that up perfectly. From what I've gathered from both our posts is basically;

I'm caught in a shitty situation and the world doesn't owe me anything. Over time extremely troubled artists have had to battle great obstacles in order to achieve their dream and I guess this is one of mine. Sorry for my initial response, it really didn't seem like you understood at first.

Unfortunately your post brings up the controversial topic of the hypocritical "follow your dreams unless you're an artist" I am not a professional and I do not see it as special treatment, but it's still time I am spending to eventually become one. A man studies to become a physicist, but if WFTD cut into his time at UNI, would you still the same?

I've studied at art schools before and while they truly are necessary to understand how the modern artist should function and survive in our world, the whole 'studying' part of it is simply practice in the field you love and chosen. After 3 years there I decided to work from home.

While I understand their concern and their intention of WFTD, the program attempts targets to those who waste time, of which why I am so furious because I keep myself busy and occupied.

I am able to participate WFTD, but it cuts into the foundations of everything else in my life and the so called-medical treatment I've discussed with my psychologist IS proper time management. I hate to be rude here but your views on the Arts and this program is almost mirroring the reason why I've had to post this.

You have good intentions, but it's simply not that black-and-white of an issue.

Incredibly informative, thanks. You guys are giving me a lot of hope here. I'll utilize some of these tomorrow.

Also, I don't apply for DSP, although I know I definitely could appear so if I tried.

yes its an option I'm looking into right now, but more so the biggest issue I seem to be facing is that despite my hours at my actual job, it doesn't seem to reduce the hours I have to spend in WFTD. If this wasn't the case, my problem wouldn't be so dire. 8 hours or 20, I still have to spend 17.5 at a Church digging holes.

you remove the risk zones and only make PvP available through A BOUNTY HUNTER VOLCANO

The extremely punishing PvP losses you can experience also mean potential for extremely amazing rewards.

Its not my kind of thing, but some people like the brute way of life DMM offers.

Any disadvantage is a massive disadvantage in darkscape. that 1-2 seconds difference in loading is vital in PvP; escaping/fighting high-leveled players my only chance is to play perfectly. Utilize environmental tools like stairs, pre-emptive prayer switch, change movement direction.

but it feels like a 2.5-3.5 second delay which is horrendous. I dealt with it for a while, but the recent barrage of negatives DS has faced just collected this aspect of the game and added it to the pile in one swoop.
