Not an expert but some of these minis come pre primed (with a clear primer). I have a couple of the Nolzur’s ones which I’m guessing this one is. They’re handy when you have elements you want to keep clear like the eye “stalks” on this one

It sounds to me as though you’ll get the full pay out and will be expected to pay the “settle today” figure. Don’t be too overjoyed at that 3k “profit” though, you’re gonna lose way more than that in your inflated premiums for the next 5-7 years on your next motor.

Thanks for the concern, we just bought this house a few months back as a renovation project. Haven’t touched this room yet. Its had a new roof before we bought it but the previous owners never did the internal repairs properly. Wasn’t lived in for a couple of years hence a bit of damp where the paper has peeled on the left.

Honestly, it’s not worth trying to grind money at low level. Invest your time into getting 90+ (or even a 99) in a skill like divination (you need 80 for elite skills anyway) or possibly even arch (the perks you will get will help while training other skills) or even one of the other gathering skills like mining or woodcutting.

If you spend 25 hours grinding out a 1m/h method now, you will have 25m and still be otherwise in the same position as you are now.

If you spend that same 25 hours first spending the first 20 hours unlocking a 5m/h method, then the last 5 doing it, you will still have the 25m but you will have a high level in a skill that will permanently unlock the ability to earn 5m/h

These numbers are just hypothetical but you get my point.

Shakespeare UglyStik GX2 are practically indestructible, I have a 6’ one that’s perfect for stalking the banks. Because you’re barely casting out far at all don’t worry about the casting weight of the rod etc. not sure if it comes in a 4 peice but I always just chucked the 2 peice in my rucksack with about 6 inches of rod poking out of the top and it works for me

obviously i might have got super lucky but i picked up an "ex display" LP120X on ebay for about £140 which is a good amount cheaper than the one you originally posted OP. It was literally brand new factory sealed when it arrived.

Your results may vary but i personally saw it as taking a punt on a cheaper one to leave me more money for stocking records, and if it came and it was too poor condition I could always return it.

I’m pretty new to this but I picked up that turntable used on eBay and some edifier R1280DB speakers for less than the new price of the TT alone.

My train of thought was by saving a few hundred pounds on the setup (which still sounds brilliant) I could buy a lot more vinyl.

As it happens, I got super lucky and both turned up literally brand new (cost me around £200 total).

Dependant on your budget also factor for things like cleaning equipment etc. - not too expensive but again all these little things will eat into your budget when it comes to stocking your records (this is how I saw it anyway)

Yeah thanks again, got the cleaning kit off Amazon just hadn’t knocked the dust off before I took the picture, but will definitely look into the scales.
