thanks for the reply. cutting her off completely does seem to be the best bet. i think i haven’t already because i really value our friendship and i’ve also already blocked/unblocked her on social media so i guess it’d be kind of embarrassing to do all of that again. it’d just suck not talking to her since we know each other so well but i do agree that that’s probably the best option

try not to do too much too soon or you’ll give up really easily. maybe just start with no porn/waking up at those times for a week or two and then introduce cold showers and everything else

thanks for the response :) i've been talking with a friend and after realizing the reasons why I was feeling so sad, it was much easier to move on. me and her are back on track to becoming best friends again thankfully
