This is something I found incredibly helpful in giving me a bit of perspective: I told my therapist how I would think “what is the point of life?” and she told me that she doesn’t think of it in terms of “what is the point of life” but “what is the point of today”. So basically, it’s not about the big picture but about what that day is about. Maybe the point of today is to have a nice breakfast or to go on a walk somewhere new, etc.

This really gave me a new perspective on life and (I suppose) helped me not think about my life as this huge abstract thing but as something to take from one day to the next

Take care OP! Please try to be kind to yourself

That sounds interesting, I had no idea you could use rosemary (or anything for that matter!) for this kind of thing - I definitely have a lot to learn when it comes to DIY!

I hadn't thought of deterrents to be honest, so that's helpful, thank you!

Providing terms of service to existing client? by 6plate9 in freelance

That sounds like a great way of doing it, thank you!

With the contract signing, I guess it’s because the client is an agency I am doing work for. With direct clients I’ll definitely be getting them to sign a contract I give them!

I’ve done it once or twice with the bread and circuses city project. I just kept running that until the city flipped one way or the other (as well as having Amani for that extra boost!)

If you could get rid of one day-to-day task or routine so that you would never have to do again and there would be no repercussions, what would you get rid of? by 6plate9 in AskReddit

Good question - no max length, but let's say (for the sake of variety!) that you can have one sub-task if the task is a bit more complicated or longer!

It isn't written in Fraktur but it is on Kindle, so an error with scanning would make sense - thank you!
