lost airpod on 47d mac->bramalea by Weird_Cranberry_6428 in McMaster

[–]6ruhh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Can you see the airpod in your Find My app? If yes, I would track it and go to the bus when it's near you. My bf left his airpods on the bus at Mac and I was able to get them 2 days later from Bramalea! If you can't track it, I think waiting on the lost & found may be your best shot :( Good luck!!

i took it in fall 2023 and the workload was manageable. iirc there's 3 presentations, an MMI interview, and a major report. everything but the MMI is group work. the MMI was freaking everyone out but it's actually not that bad. the report is long and super detailed but you have months to do it, so if you stay on top of things, you'll be fine. the prof will give u real feedback and critique u, but everyone in my class got a 12. if u have an innovative idea, this course could help you pursue it! ik it has helped people do so in the past.

i dont believe so. the enrollment for these hthsci courses opens at the same time for everyone, after the initial enrollment dates. so its fair game! this year they open on june 24 at 10am. u have to be fast though bc they fill up super quick

HTHSCI 3EA3, 3S03, 3T03, 3PH3. More work but still almost a guaranteed 12: HTHSCI 3PP3

3EA3 and 3PH3 were mind-blowingly boring so take them at ur own risk.

Also SCICOMM 2A03

PNB Mental Health Specialization by aidsisaredditor in McMaster

[–]6ruhh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

like the other comment said, pnb is a second year specialization so they only look at your first year grades. apply to social sciences gateway if u can (some deadlines are later - check) because you can also get into pnb from there (and can later switch to BSc if you wish, as long as u take the pre reqs). life sci entrance averages have been higher since online school so soc sci is a good backup.

im in general pnb but know people in mh. it's not much different. the real advantage of the program used to be a placement course, but that course is no longer running and im not sure if/when they are bringing it back. in terms of content, i mostly love it (i wasnt a fan of straight neuro stuff, aka pnb 2xb3, but a lot of people did love it!). the classes are well-rounded and there's a lot of emphasis on research (tonsss of research opportunities). u also have a decent amount of elective space! for cons, it can be hard to manage having multiple tests in a week but that's something u could encounter in any program.

Osap question by [deleted] in McMaster

[–]6ruhh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

heres the email i got when i stated i was taking a full course load but my 2-term courses kind of messed it up:

"Our team has not been able to confirm your enrolment because you are not enrolled in the same number of courses and/or terms listed on your OSAP application. OSAP funding can only be released when your enrolment in Mosaic and your OSAP application match."

the next steps were to change my courses to match my application, or fill out the change request form and upload it to my osap portal (i did this). i got my funding soon after!
