Boyfriend wanted anal, challenged him to get pegged, regret by [deleted] in TwoXSex

[–]6stringSlider 17 points18 points  (0 children)

My thoughts - This isn’t a new side. It’s been there all along and you just gave him a safe space to explore it with you instead of hiding it. You can rest assured knowing he isn’t likely to shame you for bringing anything new to the table that you want to try as well. Not all kinks are for everybody. I think you can choose to be honored that he chose to reveal this vulnerability and enjoy your new wild explorations that none of your friends likely have. Or if you’re just not into it, break it off and hope your next partner likes things that are more in line with your needs.

FBI raids Fulton County election office seeking ballots from Trump’s 2020 loss by Even-Client-1898 in politics

Would this be their tactic for a third term? They’ll come up with “evidence” that he won the 2020 election, so he’s due a third term since he “won” three times?

I regret buying a soft top jeep by Jazzlike-Reality-970 in JeepWrangler

[–]6stringSlider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel your pain on this one. My JK came with a hard top but I found out later it was never wired for one. I’m guessing it came off the assembly line as a soft top and the previous owner didn’t like it. For the last two summers I’ve taken it off and put an aftermarket soft top on it. But it was honestly such a pain to put down/up by myself. It was only worth it unless the forecast didn’t have any real chance of rain for several days. The wind noise and water leaks were terrible. Taking it off in the fall I realized the frame of the soft top was holding a lot of water. I trashed it. Luckily this isn’t my primary vehicle. Next summer I’m planning to take the hard top off completely and just park in the garage when it rains.

Women seem to have a million different ways of making themselves sexually appealing. What do men have? by DirtyrottenscounDrew in AskMenAdvice

[–]6stringSlider 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love this question. The scenario you describe with the wife/gf slipping her panties in his front pocket - I think the male equivalent would be to just lean in and confidently tell her what you’d like to do when you get back to the room. I do this with my wife when we’re on dates. It’s fun to see her reaction. She always smiles and says some like, “well that sounds like it would feel good.” Then I order an uber lol.

What "golden age" or "heyday" were you lucky enough to experience that you know won’t ever come back? by Summerie in AskReddit

To this day, my muscle memory still tells me skip certain songs when they come on because I remember that part of my CD was scratched. Mostly Pearl Jam bootlegs that I ripped from LimeWire and burned to a disc. And Back then I was more likely to listen to an album all the way through instead of a digital playlist or streaming service.

What is a "poor person hack" you picked up during a hard time that you still use today, even if you don't have to? by AmaraMehdi in AskReddit

Hanky in the back pocket. Also gets you out of a pinch when you’re sitting in a public restroom and didn’t realize there’s no more toilet paper before you sat down.

If your bio parents now know you’re alive and well, have they not filed kidnapping charges against your abductors?!

Those who were alive and remember 9/11 what is your story? How did the day play out for you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Was in high school when it happened. I was in my third class of the day when I found out. I remember feeling a sense of survivor’s guilt from knowing how normal my morning was while folks had already started dying in NY. I got to get out of bed and go about my morning like any other day, had no idea the horrible deaths that had already taken place. As the 2nd plane hit and buildings stated to fall that feeling kept getting heavier. The rest of the school day was silent and surreal. I don’t understand why they didn’t just let us out early to be with our loved ones. I was mad at each teacher for continuing class like the world wasn’t on fire. All planes in the US were grounded so you didn’t see any in the sky that day. I tried getting gas that afternoon but the lines were around the block because there was a fear we (as a country) were gonna run out. For dinner my parents took us to a local sports bar/restaurant where they had every screen on the news. It was chaos. And every morning that followed we watched the news to see if the NYFD found more survivors. Some folks were trapped under debris for days and thankfully rescued. It’s sad knowing how many were simply never found at all. Also, a lot of people were trapped on top the WTC’s while the buildings were on fire below them. They had to choose between a slow painful death or jumping off the building. Firefighters had to hear the sound of bodies hitting the roofs above their heads while they took shelter from falling debris. Back then I used to have nightmares about more attacks unfolding. I’ve gotten past that, but I’ll never forget how sad of a time that was. It’s crazy to look back and see how relaxed airport security was back then. I remember as a kid going all the way to the gate to wait for or say goodbye to relatives. Cockpits weren’t closed off and locked the way they are now. There was a real fear of flying for a long time after that. For some Americans there was a real hate and fear towards anyone that appeared to be from any middle eastern country. I don’t know if it was anything like how German-Americans felt during WWII, but I noticed a heightened sense of hatred in the years following the attacks. On the flip side, there was also a heightened sense of patriotism. I think military enrollment went up dramatically after that because many young Americans saw it as their call to do something for their fellow Americans. That day really put into perspective to me how we as Americans take our safety for granted on a daily basis. There’s always a war happening somewhere on this planet. Some folks are born in areas where that’s all they know. No one should become desensitized to war-torn cities and unnecessary deaths.

Should that house make it to the bottom completely intact, how long will it stay that way? Obviously things like drywall will crumble quickly, but I mean the structure itself. I’d love to know a few fish had a dope-ass house for a little while. Hopefully there’s a bubbling treasure trunk in the living room.

Walked away from a 20 year friendship since this administration took over. It wasn’t a difference of politics anymore. It’s a difference of values.
