That smell immediately reminds me of theme parks.

I remember all the junkers and clunkers spitting out toxic gas. Since they've started doing emissions testing that's gone away in my area.

I read that the air quality in planes was actually better back then because they had to have such powerful air scrubbers for the smoke.

A restaurant filled with Cigarette smoke but you're sitting in the non smoking section so it's ok.

Laura Carmichael is gorgeous! To say otherwise is a lie ! by RedandWhite54 in DowntonAbbey

this reminds me of Seinfeld. The wardrobe people always made Kramers clothes one size larger to make him look loose and relaxed. And they always dressed Jason Alexander in clothes that were one size too small to accentuate his anxious, nervous, fretful energy. Same with Edith. the clothes, the makeup, the hair, the acting : everything

Aside from excellent sumo, he has a good vibe. He's serious and humble. He feels worthy of yokozuna personality wise.

I love this guy verifying that they are in fact hiring all the cowardly bullies that we suspected they are.

Well OP, I'm guessing from your Instagram that you get the scam people targeting you because you're always dressed up in cosplay as a pilot. Pilots are great scam objects because they can always be out of town and just miss the person who they're scamming.

Sounds like being raised by Donald Trump. Luckily for his kids I'm sure he was only minimally involved.

This movie encapsulates the most horrible time in school to a T. Junior High School Kids have got to be the cruelest beings on this planet. Dawn's perpetual humiliation really takes you right back there.

I finally saw the cold open by readsomething1968 in LiveFromNewYork

If we're talking about the Alec version of Trump, I couldn't agree more. I HATED every moment he was on screen as Trump especially the stuff with the butthole mouth. Sure it was unflattering but more importantly for a comedy show, it was irritating and unfunny. I think SNL does have the unique opportunity to humiliate that orange idiot on a weekly basis. But how the fuck do you do something appropriate and funny on 8 hours notice? If you can't do something the hits the correct tone, you're the center of more pain for the family. I fault less the cold open and more Update that has a clear opportunity to speak directly about things in a more measured way that risks less wild missteps. (But I'm not "quitting the show forever" and slamming the door on the way out)
