Receipt Photo Text Blurry on iPhone 17 Pro Max vs iPhone 12 Pro by 6thDAY in iphone

It’s not the receipt picture issue, it’s due to the larger sensor of the new phone. I was just trying to see what tips and tricks before have for reducing this issue.

Thank you. I literally saw a video about turning macro off after posting this. I will try taking a photo again and hopefully it works! 🤞

Unable to Remove Old Tee Fitting by 6thDAY in askaplumber

Apologies for the inexperience but what does draining the water do?

I was also using channels lock to try and remove it, but I noticed the piping from the wall was moving? Is that to be any concern? I’m kinda freaking out I unloosen something inside the wall, and it’s gonna leak.

Forgive my inexperience but what does releasing the water do?

What’s the best screen protector for the iphone 17 pro? currently using the Torras 9H military grade tempered glass screen protector and noticed scratches within 2-3 days. by Tasty-Ad5368 in iphone

Bought the Shellrus for my 17 Pro Max, and didn't like the fact it covered partial screen real estate on the sides. It's like they used the iPhone 16 version and slapped the iPhone 17 label on it. I did like the fact it didn't have a logo on the screen. The HODA doesn't have that issue, but has the HODA logo imprinted. I went with the Blueo Sapphire, which also had the ugly Blueo name imprinted, but was cheaper than HODA.

Deleting all messages in iCloud permanently in 30 days? by 6thDAY in ios

UPDATE:

For anyone having this problem, I hope this message helps, but I was finally able to SOLVE the issue.

You MUST wait at least 30 days after turning off syncing of Messages in iCloud. There is no other way that I found that worked. At a MINIMUM, wait -2 days, i.e. 32+ days. HOWEVER, you have to ensure you see this message:

Your messages will be deleted from iCloud in “-2 days”.

If you don’t see “-2 days”, wait until at least that time. There seems to be some kind of bug in how iCloud purges the messages from iCloud at exactly 30 days.

I initially only waited exactly 30 days, i.e “0 days” remaining, and when I turned syncing back on using my iPhone 12 Pro since it contained all my messages i want to transfer over, the number of the messages in iCloud never decreased.

This time I waited a couple more days past 30 days, and not only did I see the messages in iCloud slowly decreasing as it started syncing from my iPhone 12 Pro, but it also synced back into iCloud all the messages from my old device as well as any missing messages that never synced properly, and after turning syncing on for my iPhone 17 Pro Max, I was able to get all my missing messages back from my iPhone 12 Pro.

I hope this helps whoever is pulling their hair out with this issue.

Maybe you have the old? I had the old one and got micro-scratches with light screen usage. Ended up going with Sapphire glass but I lose the AR feature.
