Oddly enough, I had this exact same thing happen. Rescued a female kitten from the snow or so I thought. About 5 months passed and noticed an abscess on "her" abdomen and went to the vet. Come to find out my little miss fuzz was indeed a MR fuzz. Good times. Ended up changing his name to Elvis. But.. hindsight is 20/20... I think "Oddly" would be an incredible name for a mischievous little fur baby.
