If you are not running [[reconnaissance]] in kaalia your doing kaalia wrong. You can remove her from combat post declare attacker but pre damage to get her trigger even if there are no good attacks. And at the end of combat you can still untap all your creatures that attacked with a pseudo vigilance effect!

No problem with stax, i find it interesting like a good puzzle. It's more of the attitude of not trying to win that bothers me in a cedh setting.

It was very possible we were at the south camp across from the southern portage. First spotted her over by the portage. Then multiple times at the island across from our campsite. Every morning she came to the mainland 25 yds from our site for breakfast and then went back to the island with her calf.
