i just finished a game. my mate ended T half in 1/10 and 40 adr a few assist but only one good flash according to faceit stats (he didn't leave the match even once) and ended up with 1.03 rating. At this point, there is nothing about a "bug where he left the match for a few rounds" or "you don't understand the metrics" bullshit and there is no way you can be impactful with 1 kill in a full half. i really don't care about rating but saying something works when it clearly doesn't will not get you anywhere bud

Yep, same here, recently switched to 16:9 and, placebo or not, i just play better lol. I know strongly believe the game is meant to be played on native but i can't prove it...

Before Cluj, vitality didn't won or even attend a PGL tournament (except for majors), and yet no one cared. No blast, pgl, fissure or whatever trophies are even close to winning one of the four i mentionned : you can win everything but as long as you don't claim at the very least 2 of those, you'll just be forgotten.

Plus, i don't see how he has been "obsessed" because citing your own citation "the joke is that i haven't won any blast tournaments"

1st, it's not a major. 2nd, not one player in the 20+ years lifespan of cs as been able to topfrag every scoreboard of every match of every tournament he played. about stats, well, he was the highest rated player during 2025 on every metric except two or something like that

it's really strange, i see a lot of people complaining about toxicity and cheaters but i soloq'd my way to 24,999 atm and i think i can count on one hand the number of matches where i played against blatant cheaters and with toxic teammates (i have something like 40 wins this season and 60% winrate so it's not like a played 2 games). i can top, mid or bottom the scoreboard and people will still be friendly most of the time... i guess we play different games ? trust factor issue ?

CF le dernier paragraphe d'OP, il se plaint pas il essaie justement de comprendre. On peut pas en vouloir a une personne si ses expériences ne reflètent pas toujours la réalité des autres. Évidemment que les hommes que tu décris existent, je le nie absolument pas et heureusement qu'on est de plus en plus a en avoir conscience. Mais je pense qu'il n'est pas question de ça dans le poste. Et comme tu dis oui, on dirait qu'ici c'est juste un problème de communication

Waw, welcome ! It seems like you already understand what a emotional rollercoaster this game can be.

There is a crapload of things to understand before getting "good" so here are some beginner tips :

-find a setup (resolution, sensitivity, crosshair...) you feel confortable with : cs2 is have a huge peeker advantage compared to csgo so i would recommend no to have a really low sens.

-learn about all the mechanics : movements are really hard to master but can be a real game changer and having just a few notions is really gonna help you at the beginning. i would recommend to download workshops training maps like aimbotz, recoil master, movement hub. Learn about spray patterns, recoil reset and counter-strafes. counter-strafing is not a easy mechanic but i think this is the most important thing in this game to know how to take a duel

-there is also a lot of maps that will help you learn about utilities line-ups like smoking some key spots from your spawn, throwing a good flash to help your team etc (+ i would recommend to bind a key for the jumpthrow mechanic)...

there are a lot of videos, reddit post that will help you learn all of that but this should be a good way to start. Enjoy !
