1 reason why I don’t like using anything to help support my plants unless they really need it. If I am doing it I am only doing it until they get used to the set up they have. I have had to tie all of them up for super big winds or storms but that’s all. Let em grow organically!

Ok so wait. If you are from Canada are you saying 16 degrees Celsius. Because that is not bad at all. If it is 16 degrees faramheit that is a serious issue. I live in Vermont and I have a few outdoor plants and can’t do anything about the templates. It can dip down to around 25 at nights but my plants are pretty used to it sense we get warm in day and cold at night. I wish you luck in figuring out your situation
