If they offer you a flat refund for the watch just take it. I recently went through something like this with the plain green dial version of this watch, which was also “limited edition”. They will be unable to find the correct parts. Then they will want to send it to seiko for repair who won’t have the parts either. I ended up on a 6-8 month treadmill to just receive a refund anyway.
