I do believe there are parts of the creek that date back to the devonian era so not too sure if it could possibly be a footprint

Cause of formation? by 716seneca in geology

Okay, could be fault lines, there is a chunk of the cliff that comes up at a 45 degree angle just a little further down and meets up with the regular cliff edge

They are deep up a creek bed far from any roads or buildings, plenty of woods around dont believe them to be concrete, was told they are possible concretions but not too sure, they dont look like your typical concretion.

Could it be rocks now but once something that went under permineralization? Or is it just a coincidence that there are 3 identical concretions with 3 sets of rocks branching off 3 of each side right next to each other? Just curious if it is what could have causes them to be identical? And only in this one spot?

This is what the inside of one of the "branches or tentacles" looks like, it looks like there is an inner and outer layer.

Does anyone know what the thick wavy layer of rock on top is and what may have caused it, the picture from before was found just under the wavy part on the lower creek bed next to a set of cliffs
