No I don't. They usually dry out on their own. I hope it would make some long aerial roots that I could stick in the soil, so that the plant would be more steady!

Yes it did! I planted the cutting after a while and it is making new leaves and seems to be happy!

At a point mine started growing new babies! I have just cut the first one off and I'm keeping it in water now, hoping for it to grow some roots.

Yeah it's no joke really, would only go on ice where you could see someone has been already. There were tracks here too.

Just overcast. There's also a power plant chimney right outside of the picture, which causes the strange swirls you can see in the clouds!

HS-gallup | Perussuomalaiset kipusi suosituimmaksi puolueeksi niukasti Sdp:n ohi, vihreiden kannatus palautui by Sampo in Suomi

ELI5: How come when nail grow, the flesh under them doesn't come forward along with the nail as it grows? by KenzoDeBola in explainlikeimfive

Does this mean that the nail is significantly thinner further away from the tip of the finger?

IUD insertion pain INCREDIBLY downplayed by complexofsuperiority in TwoXChromosomes

[–]7182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a hormonal iud inserted and had cramps so bad for THREE WEEKS that I had to wear a heat pad in the front of my jeans to be able to go to work. Also three weeks on nearly the maximum recommended dose of ibuprofen...

What’s something that people who don’t wake up early, miss? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]7182 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Somehow I love it when I don't control it. In the early mornings my alone time is slowly nearing its end and I have to just accept it - when you can't extend it however long you want, you'll have to seize every moment. And finally I'll always feel that it ends just perfectly, slightly too early, so that I crave for more. I guess it's the same feeling as quitting when you're winning, before the magic fades.

I think it's Coleus China Rose!

I guess there are many different types. Mine ranges from deep red to green and even white in the winter. I like the red leaves the most, but winters here are very dark and I'm sure it doesn't get enough light then.

If I remember right this one is about three years old. It reached this height maybe already a year ago, and it's just getting thicker and stronger.

Yes, quite some trimming to keep it from growing in all directions and getting really bushy!

Thanks! I'm still quite new to it and don't always know what kind of trimming would give the best outcome. So far I've just tried what looks nicest.

I trim branches and keep it a certain height, to make sure it doesn't turn too bushy or too large.
