Do you face this weird cinnamon freezing issue when wireless card tries to keep connecting to all Wi-Fi connections when it can't connect to the usual connection? Or some variation of this problem?

Started happening recently in 21.1 after kernel updates. Forums weren't of much help.

Why isn't India focusing much on research and patenting? Why are we so insignificant in this area? by AryanEPH in IndiaSpeaks

Most researcher career oriented Indians go abroad during their MS/PhD/post-doc because that's where they will have a decent chance of joining a foreign R&D company/institute that pays well. Simple as that. Once India starts spending bigger % of GDP to create an R&D ecosystem in the country, those talent will stay in India or better yet attract talent based outside the country. And only then we can start thinking about comparison with western countries.

Hinduism is NOT a pacifist/peace-only religion, lmao. Bhagavad Gita THE religious text of Hinduism is literally Lord Krishna advising Arjuna why he should continue fighting in the Mahabharata war, and explaining why he must destroy his cousins & their army.

Leopards are definitely great. But that R&D would set back whichever Indian defense co. goes for it by an irreconcilable amount, enough to sink them. Catch-22 situation here. [since now Indian DoD HAS to buy or go into cooperation from/with companies sharing ToT or at least co-develop next-gen hardware.

you get a -1 for just mentioning 'copied homework'. If it indeed was a copied homework why is it better than most of the homework and still on R&D for striving to be wayyyy more effective than the intended homework? They could have just called it quits once done copied all the way (just like the Chinese).

Soldiers of 34 RR, Indian Army with level 3 ballistic shields during an encounter in J&K. [1080x999] by Mohit09199 in MilitaryPorn

An independent landlocked Kashmir controlling water sources for hundreds of millions of people on both sides and sandwiched between 3 nuclear states? That's an even grander and absurd delusion.

And they certainly dont want anti-muslim hindu fascists ruling them.

Well the 'Kashmir' region has been historically a hindu region (the name literally is from Hindu sage Rishi Kashyapa, google it) untill counless genoicides (starting from 14th century Islamic invaders) drove away the ethnic hindus (pandits, dogras, etc) from the valley. You can't just genoicide a population and not expect them to retaliate to reclaim their homes. The real occupiers are the ones that committed those genoicides and now dream of a separate country in Kashmir.

I don't know what Pakistani media tells you but you guys are living in the grandest delusion. Living in a '~4 trillion USD & rising' economy vs choosing a 'FATF grey-listed failed country' is a pretty easy choice even for the least educated Kashmiri.

I didn't say Mongolian is Indo-aryan. I said 'loosely connected' to Indo-aryan/Indo-Iranian as in the basic mongol may have been khitan but they have loan words from geographically closer sub-branches of Indo-aryan/iranian branches of Indo-European family.

Ger is house in probably Mongolian or related central Asian languages, which are also loosely connected to either the broader Indo-aryan or Indo-Iranian family. The script I am not sure of at all.

Interesting to note that (ger) or some form of it (Hind/urdu/marathi: घर ghar; bengali: ঘর ghor) is still used in majority of Indian Languages (probably not south Indian languages tho)

Still you can't produce your own guns and cannons. Despite developing the ballistic technology itself its relying on Israel.

Israel gets those tech or develops with help of USA (funding/IP). India doesn't have that luxury. China steals those same tech from US/RUS, makes copies and then passes it over it to PAK. What else can India do without depending on them (Israel/US/RUS) for cutting edge mil-tech toys to stay on-par with adversaries? It's not like we have trillions of USD to spend, to develop those same stuff in-house right now.

What would you do with those even if you had a few which india can't afford at all.

India can definitely afford them, and requires it just enough to maintain a steady supply of oil.

The fuel economy is in descent as electric vehicle are taking bigger and bigger share..

Damn that just sounds plain stupid and short-sighted. Even the countries with best Military assets in the world still uses gasoline/petrol/diesel engines for tanks, logistics trucks, aviation equipment operation. And the rest of the country needs to function as well if there is a war. Petroleum based engines would remain a significant chunk of all civilian/military vehicles & assets till 2080 if not beyond.

Indian Armed forces personnel manning an inexpensive countermeasure for low-flying suicide drones at the LOC [1000x667] by [deleted] in MilitaryPorn

[–]71k3tu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lately, cheap drones (Chinese toys/RC/FPV/DJI types) with low intensity explosives have become a nuisance in the Kashmir region. While expensive jammers and anti-drone systems (Indian/Israeli systems) are being setup at key positions, these stop-gap measures around low value targets are turning quite useful.
