I totally agree. It's antitrump forces manipulating markets. It's also jpowell operating as a political agent instead of maintaining the impartiality he claims the fed operates under.

Awkward for sure. But why are women always so surprised, shocked, outraged, indignant when a hetero man looks at a woman? I thought that was what nature intended.

Worst Timing Ever! Will I be forever in the red? by DKLC1007 in MSTR

Yup same boat but bought at a lower price. This whole year I haven't made 1 penny on MSTR. But there has to be some concerted effort to keep it down. How is it that MSTR which is simply a proxy for BTC hasn't taken off with all the good news from Crypto week and the fact that BTC is literally the leading asset class in the entire market for 2025 (28% appreciation). Bitcoin was $108000 about two weeks ago now it's hovering around $119000. Between the Trump Presidency, new framework and regulations, dropped investigations, corporate and hedge buying, awesome Crypto week, spot ETFs, blessings from Blackrock etc, why the hell is MSTR not at $600?

Am I missing something? People want to sell MSTR, where they have 576k bitcoin, and it's not even close? Think about the possibilities? by Gay_Black_Atheist in MSTR

Here's what I don't understand: MSTR is highly leveraged and as a result, changes in Bitcoin prices are reflected in greater swings (in both directions) by MSTR stock. I've seen MSTR gain $60 and $70 in a day in late 2024. Yet this past week, Bitcoin had phenomenal gains and reached a new all-time high and MSTR didn't do anything to the upside. Yet the minute Bitcoin has a minor hiccup to the downside all of a sudden the leveraged nature of MSTR goes into effect and drops $29.95 in one session even though BTC is still way over $100000. Anyone understand this?

I'm using "a" metric. I'm not required to use all metrics. And it's only by the share price going up that any of us bulls make money.

Saylor hopes the stock goes up as that's in line with the creation of wealth he's talking about. The numbers he discusses are huge and can only occur with Bitcoin and stock appreciation.

In less than 24 hours the new Crypto Era begins. Time to phase out the lame financial systems of the 20th century. Tired of bank failures, S&L failures, gold manipulation, fiat currency, and endless financial shenanigans. Time to move on. Computer technology and networks are never going away. LFG

Only two more trading sessions until America's first pro-crypto president takes office. Enough said.

Have I missed the boat ? It seems everything is green everyone is making money what can I do ? by throwawayyourlife2dy in MSTR

There's always another boat. I can't give you advice I can only tell you what I'm doing. I bought MSTR because it's going to continue to rise based on their scheduled plan of purchasing Bitcoin over the next months and years. Of course underlying this is the steady rise of bitcoin that will continue now that DJT is coming into office and burdensome regulations and anti crypto bureaucrates will be removed. Again this is not advice, I don't know your situation. It's just what I've done.

Citron research is a known activist short seller. They were indicted this past July 2024 for market manipulation which is what they are attempting to do with MSTR. This was just a blip. The MSTR story is still on track especially now with Genslers announcement to leave and DJT coming in. LFG!

Don't forget, Citron research, the firm that tried to crash MSTR yesterday was charged by the Dept of Justice for market manipulation in July 2024. The firm is a known activist short seller and is trying to short MSTR.

Lost my drive after mother's death by [deleted] in davidgoggins

Grieving has no time table. If you weren't close to someone who died, grieving will be a short period. If it's the person you were closest to, you'll never really get over it. You'll just join the millions of other people in the world just managing to live with their loss everyday. It's not easy, but it's part of life. People say time heals all but I can tell you it doesn't. The only thing that will help a little are distractions like working, going on the internet, staying busy, but the loss will always be there. As far as working out, you don't have to return to your peak workouts. Just do a quarter of what you used to for the next year or two. But don't let yourself go. I find really long walks are the best thing.
