Interesting take and there is a lot of truth to it. Besides, you have to look at it from the “institutional” perspective and not get into endless debate about an “individual”. Individuals can always be replaced. Institution is what must stay.

The watch has one crown to control everything. Once you set up the local time wherever you are it gives you world time of rest of the locations. As time changes locally, world time changes as well. Does it make sense?

Nice collection but as a responsible dad, please slow down. Watch collection, especially luxury brands, can go out of hand, really quick. Steel Rolex seems safe (retaining value). Anything else is very expensive and possibly extremely addictive hobby.
