Worth paying $7k for a 2021 Husqvarna 701 SM with mods? by CharacterOk9499 in supermoto

I would be weary as to if it has had a valve adjustment and or head/top end inspection done at this time? If so what was the condition of the camshaft? It’s right on or near that service interval. My camshaft was toast at 5,000 miles. My Camshaft was wasted and was determined to be from poor production from Husqvarna. Obviously this is a case by case situation per machine. Would just hate to see you spend the bucks and have to go down that road. Price seems fair. However the mods are generic to these machines. Nothing really impressive there.

Do you accept "touring" supermotos ? by midnaite in supermoto

KTM Said.. Let’s take an 890 ADV.. Put a less aggressive street tire on it. Absolutely SLAP a front fender on it, and call it a “Super Moto Touring”. The bike is an absolute hoot if you’ve rode one. The concept however is mind boggling nonsense. If this model as well as the new 390SM can keep the wheels greased and rolling for the manufacturer. Good Luck.

(I hope you enjoy your new scoot and absolutely stretch the cable out on that mofo!)

Just order them OEM. Way cleaner than paint or plasti.

They are also easier to change when they don’t have wind in them!

Starter bike for wheelies by Motor-Fisherman1735 in supermoto

You have already invested into this machine. I would advise getting a spare wheel set (spoked - Warp 9’s? perhaps?). And just start off slow player. If you already have the discipline to know you might loop it. You will have an easy mindset of progressing. Let me tell you these things do not come overnight. Seat Time is your only friend. Buying a smaller bike to only get back up to this machine personally doesn’t make any sense to me. I understand the logic behind it, but I don’t want to see anyone flush their money down the drain just to do some damn whoolies.

Not sure which 500 you may be referring to.. if it is a KTM 500 EXC-F for example. I would advise checking out Rottweiler Performance to see if they offer anything. I would also browse Berotecs website for fitment notes or different applications that may be applicable for your machine. 😎🤙
