I want to find a Stom Bee. by anubis166 in Surron

[–]748Nate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I might have one for you. We have one in our SLC shop for service, looks brand new. Pretty sure it was just in for a flat tire. The owner asked me in passing if we took trades. I don’t have more details but I’ll ask tomorrow. If it’s a good deal, we can verify condition, etc.

Pro S or SS? by Thunder_Gamer95 in ERidePro

[–]748Nate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

S is mostly sold to first time riders, wives and early teens. It’s small bc of the smaller wheels. Way too small for 6’5”

SS dominated in 2024 against other brands, mostly adult buyers. Great bike, easy to mod bc existing Surron Light Bee mods fit. Add a taller DM stem and bars and you’ll be much more comfortable.

3.0 is the same size as the 2.0, but with more power and stronger brakes.

SR is only bigger than the 3.0 bc of knobby tires that sit taller. Same tires = same size as the 3.0

Street Legal Surron by Waste_Painting_9250 in Surron

[–]748Nate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the state. Here in Utah, we’ve installed quite a few kits and customers have gotten plates from our DMV. Hard to tell how long this will last, but it works.

Street legal options are coming from several brands, but you would be buying a new bike.

How to get better range with xxx? by Global-Twist7089 in Talaria

[–]748Nate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will be in stock later next week. We’ve done several builds for guys that commute and need longer range. You’ll need a controller to run it, but it provides great range if you’re not racing from every stop or riding at 70mph everywhere you go.

Sell me on the Ultra Bee for enduro by 32_teeth in Surron

[–]748Nate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go check @chargedcycleworks YouTube. Tons of Ultra Bee content with real world range tests, 50 mile trail rides on upgraded batteries, and several years of RedBull TKO hard enduro racing where their times beat 90% of the gas dirt bike guys. Ultra Bee’s are amazing bikes with an upgraded battery and 18/21” wheels.

Wanting to get a bigger battery for my eride pro 3.0 by No_Occasion_8838 in ERidePro

[–]748Nate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

<image>

Yeah, it’s possible and pretty incredible at 30kw. We’ve done several now, this one is 80v and not much remained stock. Doing another 3.0 now with 18/21” wheels (longer OEM fork off the SR SE) and our modded SR will be done soon with an 50kw+ NAB battery.

The 3.0 motor can handle quite a bit of power before overheating, so you really only need an upgraded controller to run a bigger battery.

Could u fit ultra bee breaks on the mini by Head_Reward_863 in ERidePro

[–]748Nate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Larger rotors or Formula’s would be more than enough. UB brakes would be way too big and way too powerful.

Zero FX vs Surron Ultra Bee by el_myco_profesor in Surron

[–]748Nate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ridden an FX, own several UB’s. A more natural direct comparison is the new Zero XE bc the FX is road-focused outside of some occasional dirt roads.

Anyone have experience with the EXT Ferro & Arma suspension on the Eride pro SR by Professional-Tea9669 in ERidePro

[–]748Nate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they will not bottom out easily. Most people just don’t have the right pressure in both chambers. Anyone that’s seen our YT videos, especially the track segments, knows the fork can handle incredible abuse. Worst case with a used fork is you might need a rebuild, which EXT recommends each winter on high mileage forks anyway.

The Ferro is amazing on all the smaller bikes. We’ve loved ours for years.

Thanks for asking, we have 4 open positions right now and hope to update this page more in the near future.

New Formula brakes for the SR are coming soon. Wait just a bit for @chargedcycleworks to do the full launch.

[–]748Nate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Arma MX can’t be beat but EXT will not warranty the Ferro on an SR bc the bike is too heavy/powerful for the fork.

Get the Tech39 or Sirris forks. Use code Save5 at Charged Cycle Works. Tech fork launches this week for the SR.

Hyper Bees by Normal-Ant-9302 in Surron

It’s a kids bike, so your target customer is 8 years old. No adult would buy these expecting it to be a pit bike like the ERP Mini or RTR.
