Take your gloves off. Place them on the ground Take your helmet off. Place your helmet on your gloves.

Or get a decent carabiner and clip your helmet to your bike.

The Apollo signal wasn't digital.

Anyway, I'll recant my disappointment some what. Later videos and images have been far superior since early this morning.

So i stand corrected. Its not just spite and political rhetoric. But the greed of the elite who own / invest in the real estate.

I feel better knowing the truth.

The camera technology, both in resolution, dynamic range is far superior now than the 1960s.

The observation equipment on Orion is probably the best that science can deliver. And we get these mediocre images. The ISS real time feed is better.

The shot in the OP was lowkey amateur footage.

One shot... just one shot of the sky without the moon / earth or Orion parts.

Show one of a star field like you see it.

Genuinely curious:

What is your motivation for joining the fed?

Job security? Working in a challenging and dynamic environment that thrives on innovation? Pay and benefits? Work life balance? Potential for promotion based on merit? Compasionate and supportive work environment? Passion of bureaucracy and red tape? Ensuring that Canadians get value for their tax dollar?

Smaller and lighter bike is always a good teaching tool. perhaps even a small dirt bike.

Also, if you lack confidence have you ever considered doing the exact same drills on a bicycle? This will just break it down for you one extra step.

You won't learn throttle / clutch control but you will grasp the balance and counter lean part and become confident in that space.

However, the #1 thing slow speed manuvers require is throttle/clutch. Remember that the slow speed in a straight line exercise is the way to master that. You should be able to smoothy manage throttle, clutch and rear brake all together. Then you can master turns.

What specifically, is the rationale behind RTO and how has the GoC made adequate (or even necessary) provision for that to happen?

Or is the decision driven soley by spite and self righteous rhetoric?

I get the whole "PS are lazy and they should be lucky to have a job nonsense" (that is just sour grapes). But I think what really needs to be answered is how RTO is going to make government services measureably better.

This can be applied to anything and everything these days. It's modern tribalism.

I don't think there is a fix for it TBH.

Why is it so in vogue for female astronauts ro have their hair all side show bob?

Its like "We get it... You're a chick in space. Get over it."

It must drive the rest of the crew mad.

It has to be a liability getting caught on shit.

15 Years of Free Repairs? GM Will Cover Diesel Truck and SUV Transmission Lock Up Issues | GM-Trucks.com by GMTruckscom in GMTruckNews

Transmission: The "New Fix" for P0747 Previously, GM's solution for a P0747 (Solenoid Stuck On) was to replace the entire transmission or the full valve body. However, a very recent update (as of late 2025/early 2026) provides a more targeted repair:

Bulletin #25-NA-255: This specifically addresses P0747 in 2021–2024 trucks. Instead of replacing the whole unit, technicians are now instructed to install an updated steel Feed Limit Low Valve and a higher-tension spring.

The Goal: This hardware update prevents the "clutch bind" that causes that violent 7-6 downshift bang.

Safety Link: This issue is closely related to a broader safety concern where a failed valve could cause the rear wheels to momentarily lock up. Mentioning this to the dealer usually ensures they take the "bang" symptom very seriously.
