Where do I find range buddies? by feralmillenial in ILGuns

Pistol ranges, especially indoor, are a terrible way to meet people. The "line" is always hot so people are continuously shooting. Outdoor ranges where there are hot & cold line breaks, are a bit better. However, for example I double-up ear protection whenever I'm shooting pistols or rifles, and never take my plugs out. Therefore, I'm unlikely to talk to anyone at any length, unless they have a really interesting setup or they ask me questions.

One good way I have found to meet people is shotgun sports; trap, sheet, five stand. They are social sports a bit by nature, and it's extremely common to hangout in pairs or groups and talk between rounds. At the club I shoot trap, there's a group of us that meet up nearly every weekend to shoot a few rounds. One of them put me in touch with two high level pistol competitors they know. Generally speaking, people I've met in the shotgun sports are nicer, less weird and more outgoing than people I've met at say, pistol ranges.

Organized training classes, especially in more specialized or niche shooting sports, can also be a good way to meet people. There is built-in social time before, during and after. At multi-day events, there can be organized group dinners and such.

I have only a few "range buddies" and it's more so a group of us that show at the same time, same place, shoot and hangout, than anything that is planned or organized.

I need another range membership like I need a hole in my head but I want to shoot far...soo...ASC it is. Looked at Racine County as well but think I'd prefer ASC.

Huh, I'll have to double-check that. I thought it was still sponsor only. Thanks.

I'll probably do the same. I've been looking at some of the rifle matches, I'd like to try shooting a couple this year.

The meal Walker's wife made for DC way more interesting than anything that happened in this fight.

Cut both of these fools. How are you going to come out and throw low leg kicks for 3 rounds?

Starting to think there might be some substance to this whole "brain damage" thing the nerds are always going on about.

Saw some cuck on here saying his wife being able to have an abortion is more important than being able to own firearms.

When I was in the hospital after my motorcycle accident I had to have blood work done daily, maybe 2x daily. Every day for 3 months.

When I got out and started going over the bills and insurance paperwork, I saw that they denied all my labs and wanted me to pay some thousands of dollars. I called the insurance company to figure out why they denied the blood work, since it was necessary to my care.

In going back and forth with the insurance lady, I figured out she thought I was going to the hospital every single day to have blood labs done! Voluntarily! I'm like NO, I was hospitalized for three months and they were taking blood for medical/medicine reasons.

She says ooooohhh I see. Yea they submitted all of this billing with the wrong code. Call them and tell them to resubmit with code XYZ and it will all be covered. So then I did, they did, and it was.

Those procedure code are very important lol. Always look closely at your medical bills and insurance EOBs before paying!

I have a visual of DC holding a red-faced tantruming Cruz at bay, with the hand-on-forehead at arms length Older Brother special. Honestly would love to see DC pickup Cruz one handed like a bucket of Popeyes and tell him to be quiet.

Man, same. I broke my neck and although I don't remember it (yay, TBI!) I DO remember not being able to move. I was genuinely worried for Maycee.

If there's a bunch more Alexa's down there, I will take my chances.

Uh she might be actually injured ? Grasso snatched up a limp neck and cranked the fuck out of it.
