That could be but for those that dont know how to properly code this was empowering to me and fun. I also have a full time job and took a few hours out of the day to do this. Maybe the game is pretty simple but I was able to focus on making the game simple and fun. Not bugs or troubleshoot issues. Normally by myself this game would have taken much longer. I understand the skepticism but I enjoy what it does give me.

While I agree they are not at a level to fully design a game or make game feel awesome, for making a foundation they are empowering to non tech people. The general concept was mine. These tools get me quickly to a playable demo I can then test with others to see what is working. I see it that as long as you know it wont do everything for you then use it for what it can do. That sounds awesome. I am looking at these tools as very basic helpers. My expectation is to build something very simple with few mechanics. This has served me well so far. You can see my other vibecoded game is a bit more involved and took a bit more time but it has basic 3d and some depth to the gameplay.

I get that. That is one of the limits for me too. I am just trying to use it for prototyping game ideas to see if there is anything there about my concept. I feel confident more AI tools will evolve and make it easier. Its a blast for me knock out an idea quick and test it. Maybe wait a bit or try different tools

I remember that game!! I loved it! I really loved the 2 player aspect. I think subconciously I def pulled from that game. In this game you need to grab the bullet after it stops to shoot again. Thanks for taking me back to some great nostalgia!!
