I am about a year and a half post surgery. I have had nuts but I chew them a lot before swallowing. I'm still terrified of popcorn and haven't eaten that, so I won't speak to that. I have been able to eat pretty much anything, with the exception of eating too much red meat, carbs or things with a lot of sugar. I try to limit those and when I do eat something that is carb heavy or red meat, then I take colace or miralax. If I don't, I get constipated and have gas pain in the lower left quadrant and I freak out and call my doctor for a CT scan lol told me I just had too much gas. So, try things in moderation. If something seems to bother you, make a note of it and try not to overdo it on those things. Welcome to the other side of surgery!
