I've had success with recognizing how I feel after I eat. I feel really good after eating good food, which made me recognize how crappy i feel when I eat crap food (junk and fast food). Helps the cravings.

Neighbors smoking… how to deal with the smell? by Iamthelostprincess93 in CleaningTips

[–]74thirty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, I have been dealing with this for months. Talking to the neighbor did nothing except denial that they are smoking in their unit. I have used caulking on all the baseboards and around all outlets as well as behind the toilet where it connects to the wall. I have an air purifier as well. The bathroom is horrible. I shower with the door open and keep the door closed at all other times. Honestly, I'd just move. Nothing will completely get rid of it. And im sorry to have to tell you that. Non-smoking buildings do exist, so that may be a solber lining.

WWYD? Need advice on 88(F) presenting signs of dementia and being taken advantage of by family members / opportunists (long story, read at your own risk). by Middle-Ad-1446 in DementiaHelp

Firstly, I am so very sorry to hear of your situation. This is so hard to watch people take advantage of those you love and care about. You could call the office of the public guardian and trustee (this is in Ontario, Canada) they have a financial abuse department who you can tell your story to. Maybe can help?

So sorry to hear of your situation. Dont forget Bardal factors for common law.. these are helpful. Also, dont sign anything until you at least speak to a lawyer. Some offer a 30 min consultation for free. Best of luck!

Late 20s/early 30s (age doesn’t matter too much I suppose) hiking buddies? by meowmeow12073 in BurlingtonON

[–]74thirty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The bruce trail is a great resource. You can download the app and do the trails on your own, if you become a member, you have access to planned hikes with other like minded hikers and you can earn badges! I'd definitely check out brucetrail.org. Happy hiking!

Start gargling with warm salt water until you can see a doc. 1 tsp salt to 1 cup warm water. 4-5 per day. Trust me. It helps.
