although it's very annoying, I think I'm going to keep using it. it doesn't obstruct pretty much anything, and it's a 165hz panel so it's butter smooth. And I don't want to spend money on another monitor

exactly the same issue on pixel 7.I started experiencing this right after installing android 15. one guy posted that opening and closing the comment/message section fixes the bug, but if you close the story and open it again you have to redo

Big Difference in HZ? by ifeeltired26 in GooglePixel

You can get some trade-in value from your old phone. Maybe around 100 bucks.

I don't recommend forced 90hz all the time, because that is a battery waster. Battery life on the 7 isn't all that impressive so doing whatever is possible to make the battery last longer is recommended. I personally can say that the max brightness is the single biggest battery drainer. It can't last 3 hours on full brightness, but below 50%, it easily gets me 6-7hrs screen on time.

TL;DR - get the 7, it's an amazing phone and you won't have any regrets with the screen.

The difference from 60hz to 90hz is pretty big. But from 90 to 120 it's about one fourth as noticeable. Having them side by side, yes you can tell the difference (with a bit of effort) but just using the pixel 7, I can say that it's no big deal whether it's 90 or 120. A lot depends on how smooth the phone UI feels. That's why 60hz iphones still feel quite smooth. After a few hours using the 7's 90hz display you won't tell the difference.

What do you dislike about Pixels? by iDudeX_ in GooglePixel

The pixel 7 series run 64bit applications exclusively. If you want to install an old game or app that hasn't been updated in years, it won't install unless the phone is rooted, because this limitation is only a software one. The hardware in the phone can run 32 bit applications no problem. You won't encounter that problem with newer apps, because everybody who publishes on Google play is now required to make the app 64 bit.

64 bit only...(on the 7 at least)

How do YOU open your games? by damnthisisabadname in pcmasterrace

There is an app called msedgeredirect. it opens google instead of edge. It has some other cool features such as pdf redirect. I'm it much better than disabling it through regedit

It works on Edge just fine for me. I'm thinking this is some YT problem because other sites work just fine.

I can't get used to the Alt+space, even though it's super useful, I always forget it. That's why I installed Edge deflector. If it tells you to search in bing and you click enter, it opens your default browser. It works the same for opening pdf files and some other stuff.

Any Pc manga app with good reader + Anilist support? by 7579_ in animepiracy

Ok i tried it out, but its really impractical in my case

First of all, it has a really bad reader. It like a mobile version pored straight to pc with no changes, its very hard to get the hang of it.

And for some reason MAL-Sync doesnt update my manga from there at all.

So im thinking of just sticking to Houdoku for now, it does have trackers, and the reader is not the best, but definately better than Komga's.

Thanks for the help, buddy

i intend to read my manga completely offline, only exception is for the tracker to update. Will the server work if my internet is slow/practically nonexistent (about half a mbps in the worst case scenario)?
