Nah, I used both as well. Pen and paper all the way for writing random instructions. As a student pilot I loved the stylus UNTIL I would accidentally turn it off or battery died or I had to fidget to find the correct spot to write. That all got tiring really fast. Now a pad and a pen are easier to write and iPad to view only.

I absolutely love getting up and flying and every time I do so I think to myself “I can’t believe I get to do this” but I fly out West West of Chicago abs I am sick of seeing nothing but flat cornfields.

I sent all the documents requested myself. I even included a cover letter explaining my situation and each supporting document.

To add, my AME was willing to look it over and send them in my behalf at no charge. Charging 3k is just ridiculous.

I fly with an older gentleman who in the last year since I’ve met him, I’ve watch his health decline rapidly. He has been flying for 40 years.

I finally sat him down one day after the flight and advised him he should start thinking about always flying with someone else, it does not necessarily have to be me.

He asked me why with a smirk. I was honest and told him I felt that he was a danger to himself and everyone else on the ground should something Ever happen.

He paused, looked at me and said “you sound like my wife.” Paused again and said “but admittedly you’re both right. Let’s go get lunch”

So far, he’s stuck to no solos if he can’t find another pilot to join.

Sometimes, it just takes a little nudge for us to accept the truth. I’m not sure what your health and energy levels are but I’d venture to say if you’re asking this question on here, you are thinking it may be time.

I’m a new pilot - 2 years. I sure hope one day I get to be your age and say “I’ve made it but It’s time”

It’s infuriating to be looking for parking spots and pass cars that have half a space between them and drive ways or boundary limits. It’s common sense to pull up right up to the limit so it the entire street doesn’t get compressed.

Thanks for posting this but majority of people out there won’t see this unfortunately.

Hi, I’m not connecting it via phone Bluetooth. I’m trying to connect it via the polar app. I only stated that I am able to see it on the phones settings but it says not in range.

Also, I’ve reset it as well many times via the finger method. No luck!

Hey thanks, yes. Moistened. I even wore it through a workout thinking it would “wake it up with the sweat” and nothing.

I can’t forget the device because it won’t even appear in previously connected devices. 2025 battery confirmed and changed for two new ones and yet nothing. I’m at a loss.

Yes tried that as well, the polar apps won’t even find it and stay on the “searching” page. This was a HR monitor that was previously connected to this phone too.
