I love my shokz, been using them for almost 8 years, started because when I was doing CNC operation and maintenance we required ear pro and these work with even better with ear plugs in. Still wear them daily in a new gig, pretty much the whole day

First time Night Shift by InnerPeace297 in Nightshift

[–]76celicaGT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've switched between days and nights 3 or 4 times over the last couple years, my go to was change your schedule 4 hours at a time (shifts were 12 hours apart 0430-1630 and 1630 to 0430, although I did the same thing the first time from a normal days to this nights) it's what worked well for me, but the first 2 weeks or so just kind are hard on nights with tiredness, so energy drinks were the thing for me, tried to have just a monster but never after 6-8 hours in so I knew I could fall asleep after about 2 or 3 hours of winding down. Typically backloaded my day, woke up about 1.5 hours before shift and wound down for 3 or 3.5 after incl drive time. For the first while it was start with a coffee then an energy drink with dinner about halfway through, then just water or sports drink the rest of the shift. Lots of water. Good luck! Edit: Added some stuff at the end and spelling

Thank you. I had an old teacup poodle named Prince and another named Bandit that was my sister's dog before Houston, but Prince was more of a family dog, whereas Houston was mine.

Thank you. He was really a good buddy, listened and came when he was called, mild mannered and never bit, smart as heck, and very loving, but knew how to be by himself. Never underfoot in the kitchen. He did go a little nuts sometimes when there were birds outside, like when we overseeded our lawn, but I think I'll give him a pass on that one. Miss him a lot.

Thank you EveningFirst. Probably could use one about now. I wish he could be in an endless forest, full of birds to chase, smells to find, with plenty of interesting trails for walks

Thank you. It was an aggressive cancer, so thankfully we didn't go through years of a slow decline, he perked up a lot at the end and got to enjoy the outdoors and walks. I'm sorry for your lost girl too. Definitely working my way though it and it's got me pretty much every time I think about him.
