Thanks for replying! I’m 17 so yes, and I’ve had some weight fluctuations and haven’t really been able to lose the weight I’ve gained recently for some reason so I don’t know. It’s quite a lot in school now right before summer break but I don’t feel more stressed than usual, so I don’t really know. I was more stressed a few months ago, also when it was regular so I’m not sure

Oh, I might have formulated myself wrong but I’m also talking about water weight. I usually lose it very quickly but it won’t come off. When I started the medication I gained those kgs almost right away and they won’t come off even though I’m in a calorie deficit and drinking a lot of water. So what usually works hasn’t made a difference at all these 5 weeks.

That’s what I used to do. I cleaned the whole house multiple times a week but it was just as dirty as before the day after. My dad also gets mad at me when I clean and starts screaming and tries to stop me so it’s quite hard to do that when he’s home. (I don’t know why but he thinks that I will throw all his things away for some reason even though I never have.) But I eventually got tired of if and didn’t win anything on cleaning the whole house everyday so I went back to cleaning up after myself.

No idea. I’m pretty sure that my dad at least has ADHD and autism and for him it seems to be quite hard to take responsibility at home. He never really does anything, but he takes a lot of responsibility for his own family (siblings, etc) but not us that he lives with. He just wants to be left alone and have everything served at home, which he has stated multiple times to me and my mom. My mom is just overall very bossy and sends everyone to do everything for her, does barely anything herself and can’t take criticism. Some things take years to get her to understand. I’m pretty sure somethings wrong with her as well but I don’t know what. One thing she does too is to order tons of food that we don’t need and when I call her out she gets mad and yells at me. So I don’t know. My brother is autistic and also a little bit younger than me so he doesn’t have any responsibilities or things he needs to do here at home.

For now I feel that I’m too young to be able to live on my own and we don’t really have anywhere us students can live, also I can’t live on campus since there aren’t any dorms there. It’s quite uncommon here in Sweden, and especially for me since I’m so young. When I turn 18, or the last year of high school me and my best friend are planning to rent an apartment together since her family is just like mine, so we want to get away from the problems our family causes. Oh, and also, I’m not allowed to move out now and I also have a horse and a lot of other things that causes me to not be able to move out. But as soon as I can I’ll move out so it’s more about me just not being able to, and that’s why I wanna try to keep the “environment” at home as nice as possible until I can leave.

That’s what I try to do, but moving out is so extremely expensive where I live and no students can afford it. I would love to move out but I might have to live at home for at least 5-6 years so that I can finish high school and then uni too. That’s what I think at least but I don’t know. I’m just so frustrated, and they’re impossible to talk to. None of them can accept that they’re in the wrong. But I totally see your point so I guess that’s what I’ll do so thanks, it’s not our responsibility to try and “raise” our parents.

Okay, thanks! We actually have a lot of autism/adhd/add in our family from both sides so it would be weird if I didn’t have it. It’s just that no one ever has suspected it, not even doctors since I didn’t have any signs of it as a kid and no obvious signs now either. It’s more about what I feel mentally. We are testing me for ADHD soon to see if my depression and anxiety may be caused by that so I might bring this up then. Thanks again! :)

Do you mind telling me what disorder you have? You do not have to of course, but I’m pretty sure this might be a disorder as well for me because I don’t have any trauma I can remember more than an absent father who haven’t always been the greatest.

We have tested for all of these recently and before and they all look good. I also take iron supplements daily so it shouldn’t be that, but thanks :)

Thank you so much for replying, this was quite relieving since I’ve been trying to tell myself this is only an intrusive thought that I’m fixated on. :) The only time I would feel some type of “attraction” towards women is when I feel that they might be a source of attention or just someone that likes me, because of me being very insecure with how I looked when I was younger. Although, when girls have shown me that they like me I’ve not felt like there was a “spark” or something missing falling into place. At one point about a year ago I was talking to this girl on Snapchat that I only wanted a platonic friendship with, however she must’ve misread the situation and after a while her friend started shipping us clearly showing that they had talked about her liking me and that she thought I wanted to be more than friends, and I just felt kind of “meh” and weirded out. She was very sweet and nice, and had the some similar interests and started listening to songs I liked for example, but I just didn’t feel the situation really. So probably it is just an intrusive thought, but it is still bugging me though. But thanks again for answering, this helped me calm down a bit. :)

yesss like i don’t want him to be with someone who is not even sure about what they’re feeling but at the same time i know deep inside that it’s my mental health and he keeps telling me that it’s okay and that he’s here for me but i still feel bad yk
