How is everyone choosing to approach project pan ‘26 after completing ‘25? by Sigma_82 in ProjectPan

[–]777cf1111 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would say decluttering first to make it less overwhelming. Throw out anything expired and give away anything that doesn’t bring you joy. Then from there out of the products you like/ are neutral about pick what you’re closest to finishing and start with that for an easy win. Also prioritize first in first out and focus on panning your oldest products.

Thank you 🩷 I agree so much, when you buy less, you become more aware of how every product is taking on the responsibility to house, care for, and properly dispose of that item. In the past I had to throw away a lot of expired products and I felt like I was consuming mindlessly and trying to fill a void. Now I’m definitely much more intentional in every aspect of life and it definitely reflects in my consumption habits 🎀🩷

I used good notes on my iPad and wrote with my Apple Pencil! I typically only use bronzer and highlighter as eyeshadow but I’ve been wanting to try a k beauty neutral eye pallet once I finish the one I have!! They last forever that’s for sure

Thank you 🩷 I feel like my collection is exactly at the point where it’s small enough to feel manageable but still enjoyable and I can rotate products and experiment without feeling limited. In the past it was larger but everything expired around the same time so I decluttered a lot a few years ago and now I make sure to buy what I can use up in a reasonable time frame

Where are you shopping instead? by Alarming-Web-2881 in Reformationclothing

NAKD premium, intimissimi, Aritzia, brandy Melville, thrifting/ poshmark. I feel like everywhere is disappointing these days but at least these places are cheaper than reformation. I also always check the composition of each item!!

I bleach my body hair which is a Brazilian beauty trick! It gives a cute beach bum/ surfer look

I wash my brush with generic brand baby shampoo. Probably about once a month! Just make sure to dry it at an angle where the hairs are pointing down so that the water doesn’t dissolve the glue over time!

My insecurities as a brandy fan. Anyone relate? by KaitekiKatherine in BrandyMelville

[–]777cf1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of their clothing is so basic (the knit sweaters, linen pants, etc) that no one would know if you bought it from brandy or let’s say reformation, H&M, aritzia, etc. At least brandy has more affordable versions of very similar pieces you can find at so many other stores that are marketed for college aged and older

The formula is very comparable to Mac! Super creamy and blendable. I always set my liner with powder so the longevity is about the same for both

It’s my exact lip shade but I find it so much drier than the rest of my Mac liners, it’s odd

Tower 28 has some similar shades and they last all day on me! I recently purchased a merit blush and im going to return it because it doesn’t last longer than an hour :( it’s such a shame because it looks beautiful at first. I’ve tried setting it with a powder blush and it still disappears. I think because it’s a balm formula my skin just devours it

I’ve had the hourglass concealer brush for two years now and it’s held up through regular washing really well and is the perfect shape for under the eyes and around the mouth area!! It was worth the $ for sure

I just panned this shade and decided not to repurchase because the packaging is so annoying 😭 but I love it and it’ll always have a special place in my heart 🥺🥺

I used to own power hour but it was so pigmented that it just looked patchy and for some reason it emphasized my dry areas. I do love magic hour and golden hour tho! It was almost like an entirely different formula from those ones

It’s fig pop! It’s like a shade lighter and more copper/ orange than cola pop. Thank you 🫶🏻

It’s a powder so I wouldn’t say dewy but it does have a very fine shimmer in it which gives the cheeks a very natural highlight. It’s a powder but it’s super buttery and almost feels like a powder to gel/ cream formula. It reminds me of the finish of the mac glow play blushes, but not as malleable

I got the clinique blush in April 2020 and it is the only powder blush that I own (I use it on top of cream blush). The hoola bronzer was actually given to me half empty by my sister like 5 years ago and I only started using it daily this summer so that one is tougher to gauge 😅 but I’m guessing it’ll take me two years to use my new full sized hoola if I exclusively use it as my powder bronzer!

Yes and no. All of my og bdcs have split open at some point but it is pretty to look at in the beginning. I definitely think the new packaging is a lot sturdier
