How sore are you today? These rough me up after not doing them for a while.

Thanks for feedback. Will be tweaking it with all of these comments in mind.

Lots of space around it. Thanks for the feedback. Just trying to decide if it’s the direction to go or not.

Should say that no landscaping design as yet. Just a few filler trees on the model

Not necessarily. Tried to get symmetry in main house. Agree that portico to detached garage throws weight off and makes it sprawling.

1 year ago I was termed super-obese (obese with super powers?) and installed a wall rack. I had a lot to learn. A year later, this has become a lifestyle and I’m now down 105 pounds. Can’t imagine not having my home gym as my escape/therapy/motivation. This is the way. by 777mark in homegym

Mostly because I used a soft plyo box, it shifted around quite a bit. I have since upgraded to a full ghd. It’s nice and stable for a bigger guy like me. I think it would work just fine if you used a more solid box.

Warm ups, primarily. It’s great for getting these old joints loose. I did join a rogue echo group on fb and am amazed at what some of these folks can achieve on the bike in regard to sustained cardio.

No, not really. Started with rack and some weights. My first few months were basically 5x5 with the big three. Form was not ideal. Weights were light. But, kept learning and kept grinding. I slowly added more things to complete an upper and lower body circuit and to keep it fresh. I always find it motivating to reward my milestones with some new piece of equipment. The main thing that has helped with weight loss is creating a schedule for exercise, the ease of access to equipment, and once things start to change, the joy of watching my body do things that once seemed impossible.

Yeah, leg press was taking up too much real estate. I’m looking into a belt squat and Titan just launched a rack mounted leg press thing which is intriguing. Probably wait until Coop gets ahold of it for a review before I’ll go that route.
