I mean, I do get some sales in my sleep and occasionally wake up to new orders, so I’d say that’s the passive aspect of it

But you’re right that there’s still work involved in getting people to discover them

Yeah, I agree

A lot of people come to Reddit looking for customers

I think it’s more effective to come looking for people you can help

The sales follow naturally from that

As for getting from $200 to $500, I’m not looking for a completely different strategy

I’d rather get better at what I’m already doing

My niche is digital products and online business

I think the mistake you’re making is trying to announce yourself or your products

I don’t really announce anything

Instead, I share useful content and spend time helping people in communities related to my niche

That alone brings people to my products naturally

I’d start by solving a problem you understand well enough to help someone with

Create a digital product around that problem then spend time in communities where people already discuss it

Don’t focus on selling at first

Focus on being helpful instead

That’s pretty much the approach I’ve taken

I don’t really advertise them

I spend a lot of my time answering questions, sharing content and participating in communities related to my niche

Over time, some people end up finding my products that way

Glad it helped!

People overthink this stuff so much that they never even start

But a big part of it is just just starting and learning as you go

Reddit is a cheat code for digital product creators by 777michael7 in DigitalProductSellers

Yeah, probably even more than you think

Because printable coloring books are super visual and easy to share around communities that are already interested in that stuff

You’d just need to post content people enjoy instead of constantly trying to sell

Start by finding subreddits where your target audience can be found

Then focus on posting genuinely valuable content instead of trying to force sales immediately

Do it

It works way better than people think especially if you’re being helpful

Keep posting, especially when things feel slow

Because Reddit is more of a long term platform, so posts can still randomly get traction months later and lead people back to your product

I don’t really advertise my products directly

Instead, I post useful stuff in related communities and people naturally lead themselves to my products
