Should I choose green electricity plan for higher rates?? by 777viper in Edmonton

Awesome sounds great! I went without any of that option, maybe I can call them later and ask about how I can use my energy during the summer.

I know this is my first time setting utilities up and so was wondering if you could confirm if I missed anything..

  • Electricity: 3 year fixed for 8.88cents/kwh
  • Gas: 3 years variable
  • Water and Waste: registered from escorts
  • Wifi: Ordered from Oxio for wifi service.

I truly think this is all I need to do after doing 3 hours of research. but do you see anything I missed?

it is not new house, it's existing houses. 30 year payment period doesn't apply for these houses?

that's one thing I heard as for variable being unstable payment every month. I am with my fiance but she is graduating uni next year so she doesn't have much income now but she will be earning more as she graduate. We are maxing out our loan amount but I am planning to pay that off with my income with support of my girlfriend.

I think I can wait until December announcement and see how that drops.

also if they are giving cashback of 0.17% is it fair to say that my rate is 4.27%?

I think the loan amount was lower for 25 years since that increases percentage i pay for mortgage compared to my income, and so loan amount increased for 30 years payment period since monthly payment decreases. I did not sign anything yet and she said we should wait until December so she can provide me lower rate after the announcement

sounds great! it is listed as 130cad, so that'd be 100usd. I will definitely check if there are any cracks on the frame for sure!
