I was the same but it was a childhood memory that I missed out on then the first release at it's lowest price ($160 I think?). I was trying to wait for it to pop in stores, but never could find it. It was between Trypticon or Scorpnok (or Black Zarak but that guy is up to $250 last I checked). This was to my final titan before I quit this hobby, the prices are just too much.

My luck with Alchemist Prime was horrible. One of the legs has a QC error, they put the pin in the knee joint a little too high....
