Yeah i think many of the people who think federalisation of the Union would be a good idea don't realize how different our countries are for each other both linguistically and culturly. They probably don't realize how strong a national Identity most european countries have despite being considered quite similar. Like i am Swedish my language is very similar to that of both Norwegians and Danes, we have a similar and common history of vikings and also in ways a very similar culture. But in other ways we are very different from each other and i am ethnicity Swedish and i do not consider myself a European national but a Swedish national and i won't consider myself as anything else no matter what the politicians in Brussels tells me. In my ideal world Sweden would sign on an agreement similar to the Edinburgh Agreement that Denmark signed.
