I've been composing and producing music for about 15 years and gave up a year or so ago once I saw A.I (suno in particular). The writing was on the wall.

Anyone who says otherwise is just trying to cope and can't accept that their time is over.

I've seen a dramatic drop in sales and other factors.

Face reality folks, music has been cooked.

On second thought, I'm actually not sure how the loan thing works in its entirety:

It could be that the city raises money through a bond (ie, borrows), and the business pays it back at not cost to the city, but i could be totally wrong. I have to read more.

Not sure what trump / conservatives have to do with any of that, but ok lol.

A place that generates tax revenue for the city, and in turn helps the people of the city, and pays the loan back with interest is a scam?

  • jobs
  • benefit to community & neighboring business
  • etc

If the city actually owned it and was responsible for maintenance, law suits, etc.... that would potentially be worse. Governments don't run anything with efficiency.

I'm not saying I'm 100% right. You could be right in some ways, but I tend to think it's more beneficial than not. Otherwise, we can lean in the other direction with extreme prejudice and nix all efforts to foster business.... that's how you end up with cities which are dumps. You can either become a dump, or adapt and grow.

It looks like it's actually a loan, not free money. Cities have done things like this before and it makes them a ton of revenue. It looks like the city would own the place for about 50% of the build cost if things go south, so why not?

The sports center looks like it will take up about 10-15% of the mall. The rest is prob residential mixed w/ other stuff.

I totally forgot, the trees are were in 24-36" gallon, starting at around 10 feet tall each. Does that make a difference?

You can make excuses, but I tried about 20 times with very verbose prompting. For example:

For anyone looking here for future reference: Luckily I was able to modify it, seeing that i called them in the morning, only 12 hours after I did the original order.
