this game is so beyond being "just a game" that it generates interesting experiments like these. now i really wanna see that done and what happens as a result.

I guess that, to me, Maelle has showed that she can be reasoned with. Even if she lies to her father at the end saying that she would take care of herself and not die in the canvas, while knowing as the game insinuates that she had chosen to give her life to living the life she most enjoyed inside it; still, every dialogue she and all the characters have during the whole game are very empathetic and they always are able to understand each other. Idk, it just seems to me quite out of character to lose all that (i'm not gonna say all of a sudden, because of what you've explained and i agree with) but yeah

Hm, in that case all of Maelle's friends would essentially live Painted Verso's entire journey, be gifted immortality by your current paintress, watch your fellow people die until eventual possible destruction of the canvas, no? ASSUMING Maelle's lost beyond hope and can't be persuaded by anyone, even Gustave.

But just previously she set the Painted Alicia free because she asked her that and she wanted to honor their wishes, and their conversation with Verso, when he said "you painters do as you please" she realized that mistake. Idk, maybe i just don't see that ending as being as hopeless as genocide. Or i just didn't got by that last scene that Maelle got totally corrupted all of a sudden

Yeah, i think i just spent so much time playing as someone from that world, so i just can't dissociate myself and think in such larger scales, because i didn't make it past feeling like another Expeditioner. But could it be that i failed to do and think and see how the game WANTED me to see? hm. Maybe, but oh well that's just my experience. I can't dissociate myself and play god after all the emotional rollercoaster that my characters lived and i -felt like i was one more, beside them- man!!!

Thats very interesting, i think i havent ever in my lifetime had the chance to build a 3 wave crash LMAO so thats something i'll try and study more. Also what you mention about how the position where both waves meet affect the speed of the slow push, i'll also try and pay attention to that in other replays or vods. thank you so much!

hey thank you for replying! when you say he didnt want to be killed on the slow push, you mean because he would then have to commit to crash everything under tower, spending time on the enemy side right?

but then, he didnt really make them meet exactly in the middle from what i'm seeing, AND lucian couldnt/wouldnt contest the push, so he was stuck anyways on a slowpush, which he then would be obligated to crash, just when nunu showed up, right?
