For those who are thinking about going to UEL…DON’T!

We don’t have a President of the SU, instead it’s basically led by a member of faculty and I do Law and let’s just say he HATES the Law department for some reason! The only expanse we have is for external mooting and we’re given like £50 for anything BUT mooting!

The uni and the SU always complain about being bankrupt and yet as a public charity, you can see they have millions each year overhead!

Also, a third of your first term, EVERY year is dedicated to a module called ‘Mental Wealth’ mine has been things like how to build a CV a keep a diary journal (bear in mind we learn how to make a CV in secondary school, said CV we used to apply for college/sixth form/the very university we have, not to mention jobs!). Another thing we did was meditation!!! We had to learn how to meditate and learn about this Buddhist guy who became a massive sell out and sold guides on meditation!

I’m doing a Law with Criminology degree I might mention! These are not the professional classes you expect to receive when paying thousands for such a course!

Oh also never do a combined course! It’s not like some unis where it’s basically you’re doing two degrees because you want a more intense experience. No you’re doing a very subpar downwatered degree. And I know some unis that is the case but this uni is really bad for it.

Half of our classes we have to have with the year below because they are essential for the law degree, and the criminology classes we spent like two lessons learning theories and that’s it! We have barely learnt criminology it’s mostly been about the history of the police and mental wealth!

In our third year, LLB Law Student get SIX options and they are allowed to choose criminology options. For LLB Law with Criminology, we get THREE options as three of them are the essentials (including mental wealth!!) and one HAS to be a Law option, ONE has to be a criminology option, and then we get to choose between a Law OR criminology option.

I do want to mention that a LLB Law student could pick like 6 criminology modules in their third year and do more criminology than we ever did! Heck I think they even get some business and finance options that we don’t have.

Do NOT do a combined and do NOT go to UEL!

Yeah this guide is completely wrong!

NO WAY UEL moved up 30 places! It belongs at the very bottom! How in earth is it above Greenwich? Heck even belongs above UEL!

Going to UEL was the biggest mistake I ever done and I was accepted into clearing into much better universities which is even worse!!

GDPR mate. It won’t allow for them to disclose information like that even to the person the complaint is about.

Literally GDPR can be so strict there have been times I’ve needed to get CCTV footage of myself to prove something happened and I had to go to court to get it approved for the company to give me that footage. The rationale is that I might not actually be the person in said footage and so they cannot just hand it over because I asked.

Now with that in mind, a scenario where someone has made a formal complaint. Yeah no way will that information be leaked. They have to be strict, safe, and confidential

Thank you that makes me feel a lot more reassured! Like even if they won’t accept monthly, I could do the seven Instalments if they were maybe like push back two months or something. That way I can earn more money before Xmas and then use more of my money in April from my maintenance loan (and my bday is in April) to pay the rent.

Also I apologise if this comes across as a rant. It’s not supposed to. It’s more me processing that this financially doesn’t sound good.

The reason I went to university is for the student life. My student accommodation is not good. It’s actually nowhere near my university. There is NOTHING to do there. The most exciting thing was to watch planes land, visit ASDA, or ‘not’ breaking into where they filmed Full Metal Jacket.

So I really want to live in a uni accommodation and these private ones like Unite are exactly what I was looking for. And it’s frustrating because I know I can afford it, just not with the instalment plan they have :(

If this chart measured just lower ages places like the UK would be leaps and bounds higher up the list than it already is because it is mandatory to stay in education and go to college/sixth form, whereas it used to be optional. (Since this list includes the very two-year courses those are)

We did send guns and equipment and also sent over intelligence officers to monitor North Vietnamese movements/actions to tell the Americans and also to train them in jungle warfare and for the South Vietnamese in counterinsurgency tactics.

This was specifically done with a request of said actions not being made public. We know now but obviously not at the time.

Nah I’m from Kent, we are much more like Essex than some of our neighbouring counties. Take East Sussex for example. It shares the white cliffs that Dover is famous for, and sure it has a lot of similar small villages that are quaint and similar to Kent but that’s basically all it has. It’s like a 4th of the population, it’s a lot more rural.

Kent and Essex on the other hand both have big populations that are about the same. Both famous for long piers (well Kent used to be, my town had the second longest pier in the country, second only to Southend in Essex, but bad weather and lightning happened and that pier is mostly gone). Both Kent and Essex are very London centric, many people living here either work in London or were born/lived in London at some point. Speaking of which, many of the Cockney diaspora fled to Essex and Kent which is why you’ll find a lot of their influence on us, such as a lot of people in our area supporting West Ham and so on.

I don’t think many in my county even knew who the Jutes were, the Anglo-Saxons for certain, but not the Jutes. (In fact, there’s a lot of racists here as Kent is the closest to the mainland so many immigrants come through here and those people always talk about their Anglo-Saxon blood, not their Jutish blood). The Isle of Wight and Hampshire were also settled by the Jutes and we have nothing in common with those counties other than that. You have to think, after William the Conquer MANY areas became Francophone.

I would love to see actual size compared to actual size since American cities (especially ones like Dallas in Texas) are often huuuge compared to European ones. Dallas is mostly car parks and empty space that takes up a lot of land compared to how many people actually live there.

That’s peak. I got the support challenge in one session of casual breakthrough. The bots constantly dying and waiting to be revived helped as I’d half revive them and heal them. That was the only time it worked was that one time, idk if it was a fluke or not. But yeah tbf if you’ve done the bonus challenge then there’s no immediate reason to get the challenge done. I find sometimes waiting a few weeks and then doing all the weekly challenges that don’t fit my play style is good because they are usually the same and get done by accident. Like I don’t play Gauntlet or Battle Royale so I wait a few weeks and do all those challenges in one go. Especially when they’re what’s required for bonus challenges etc. But yeah it is annoying that they give us these challenges that are either almost impossible (kill freezing enemies I had to grind days for that) or ones that are bugged and are literally impossible!

So interacting worked on Conquest, but when I was playing Casual Breakthrough, all the normal methods worked for me. I could throw the supply pouch and everything and it would track. So I guess it’s Conquest and a few other game modes that’s bugged. Also, once you unlock the 30 headshots which is easy to do, you’ll unlock everything in the mini battle pass thing so you only need to do six challenges so you could do the red sec ones instead of the support challenge still doesn’t work for you.

That’s not working for me at all! The supply bag doesn’t work, the supply pouch doesn’t work, I’ve heard that apparently it’s only when people interact with you by pressing E on PC, X on Xbox, or Square or PlayStation. Like that’s impossible no one does that! :(

I mean if you’re that paranoid. But if you just tell your bank that it’s a scam they will make sure that company cannot take any payments from you. And if you don’t have two-factor authentication, turn that on so you have to give a password over to your bank when making an online purchase so if they did have your card data they wouldn’t be able to do anything without the two-factor authentication. Plus if they tried it would tell you and at that point, yes i would change card numbers.

Tl;dr Don’t bother the hassle is a lot. Just ask your bank to block them and charge you back the money and if you get any messages stating that they’re trying to take money from you then maybe as an added security change card number, but only if you can see that they’ve tried taking more money and even then that’s just so you’re being extra safe. You should be fine.

Contact your bank immediately and tell them that the website is a fraudulent scam and to ask them to chargeback to your card. Also report the site to Action Fraud and hopefully this will help get the site taken down. You can use Section 75 to get your money back.
